		<description>I applaud the participants and the rational behind this approach. However, while this study does suggest there are short-term health benefits of this diet, its long-term impacts are unclear. Just because a diet is “Traditional” or “paleolithic” does not confirm it was actually healthy or sustainable. Past peoples had to choose from what was available on the landscape in which they lived and sometimes they would go through periods of feast and famine which served to &#039;balance&#039; weight on a seaonal basis.  In support of this study, an examination of the health profiles of peoples following this diet in the past must be carried out as well.</description>
