Me, my cousin and my 8 year old son were in Taysan, Batangas to visit a new customer who is into gamecock farming. After the visit it was getting late and I thought we were near enough to Laiya and decided it would be nice to sleep over. Since last year I had been dreaming to sleep over in Sitio Balakbakan, a tiny fishing village to buy fresh fish and rent a boat and do some ocean fishing the boat man calls trawling. It is when you drop your fishing line and keep the boat running so the fish will run after the bait.

Our children just love horse steaks rare. This morning we drove to Malabon to buy some 8 kilos of horse meat with horse fat and horse innards. We have to try them all. This is only our 2nd time to buy horse meat in the Malabon main wet market. We bought too much horse meat we actually broke our Styrofoam container. We had to buy 2 Styrofoam containers.

We were on a long trip and going home from Anvaya cove. We had eaten all the food we brought with us. We were on zero food. The kids were very hungry. We passed by a Shell station just after the Dau exit and tried to find something the kids could snack on.
