My theory regarding the must have good fats or else diet

February 17, 2008 by Good Samaritan

My observations regarding people’s fat consumption pattern has come to an initial conclusion this February 2008. I have observed that people need their dietary fats, and they are going to get that dietary fat one way or the other.

Yes I can see people consuming lots and lots of refined carbohydrates from rice, corn, wheat and potatoes, as such they forget about the more nutritious fruits. What people see to it subconsciously is they get to consume the minimum of FAT they need to sate their appetites.

Filipinos have been taught to drink low fat milk, to remove the fat of pork or beef or the skin of chicken. This poses a dilemma with their body’s hunger for fat. So where does the regular Filipino get his dietary fats? From FRYING!

Frying is the number 1 cooking preference of urban Filipinos. Their fat requirements are met by the cheapest cooking oils they can afford. Who knows what mixtures of vegetable oil, hydrogenated coconut oils, other trans fats, corn oil, canola oil, any kind of cooking oil including margarine, etc.

Let me state it more bluntly. You are EATING cooking / frying oil. Every time you buy another bottle of frying oil, you should realize you and your family ATE most of that oil as part of your food. Yuck!!!

Now do you know WHY the instant noodles they used to sell had a separate sachet of oil? Oil gives you the sense of fullness, Oil is FAT. Frying oil is BAD FAT.

I have observed that if a person got his dietary fats from beef or pork saturated fat in a broth, he won’t look for fried food. If a person got his dietary fats from raw coconut meat, raw fish, raw extra virgin olive oil, avocados, durians, raw egg yolks… he won’t need to eat fried food.

People must know this. People must be conscious to stuff themselves with the good raw dietary fats so they do not wind up unconsciously consuming bad fats.

It balances out at the end of a couple of days. Feed yourself with enough good fats and you will feel sated, content, happy and healthy… and consciously you will be avoiding the consumption of bad fats.  Say goodbye to frying oil… forever!

This knowledge IS intended to diagnose, treat, cure and prevent ALL diseases

February 17, 2008 by Good Samaritan

I chanced upon websites selling the usual “snake oil” to people.  They always have this disclaimer that says their product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease.

The knowledge about truth in health we can gather and cherry pick on the internet IS INTENDED in every way to Diagnose, Treat, Cure and Prevent ALL Diseases.

Health truth is so simple I did not have to go to medical school to learn this much.  Health truth is so simple that I’m passing this knowledge on to each and every descendant.  Call it a family heirloom.

The fact that I’m blogging about it and so have many people before me, we are making headway for everyone in the future.  Maybe in the near future, everyone will know about truth in health and we will have a happier world.

I was in a family get together and as usual I have to shut up, bear it and grin at all the health ignorance being joked around with.  Somehow people find it insulting when a non-MD like me has a real opinion about these things.  Let them be happy with their own ignorance.  Feign ignorance and people will like you for it.

But hey, when the chips are down and people have nowhere else to go, they can ask me for help, as long as they aren’t almost dead, they can be cured.

So my grandma was weak, feeble and shaking.  What can I do?  Nothing.  I don’t have the money to make her live with me long enough to cure her.  So she has to bear it and be miserably sick at only 83 years old.  Her children and the other relatives think it is just old age.  Of course not. She’s just sick.

I have children of my own to take care of, they are a higher priority right now.  I can’t save the world, especially those who aren’t willing to open up their minds.

Anyway, to all you relatives and friends, make fun of my raw diet all you want, but you are welcome any night or day to ask to be cured of any incurables your western MD can’t handle.

An overview of the systems, advocates and books which advocate raw diets which include raw animal foods

February 17, 2008 by Good Samaritan

Mr. Vinny Pinto has analyzed and synthesized much of the raw and paleolithic food systems. Read what he has to say on this topic:

Traditional, Largely-Paleolithic Raw Foods Diet

For most of us, it seems that our nutrition — what we eat and drink — plays a key role in determining much of our health and vitality, and, often, the amount of freedom and options in our lives.
As someone with a lifelong experience and training in modalities of natural healing, and with a Master’s degree in a health-related field, it is my opinion and experience that the vast majority of us, likely over 99 percent of us, do not thrive on a Standard American Diet (SAD) which is high in cooked and processed foods and refined sugars. Rather, the vast majority of us seem to do best on a more traditional diet, far closer to what our ancestors ate, and far more suited to the biochemistry which our genes designed for our bodies. Such a traditional diet may be eaten either raw or partially-cooked. The partially-cooked version (often called the Paleolithic Diet or Caveman Diet) excludes any processed or refined foods as well as any foods which entered the human diet only in the past few thousand years. Thus, such a diet excludes grains, beans, legumes, sweet fruit juices, overly sweet fruits, and all processed and refined oils. Such a traditional diet must also include some raw fruits and vegetables and will also include some animal products, often including some raw animal products as well. Such a diet usually allows small amounts of cold-pressed, extra-virgin olive oil as the only pourable “vegetable oil”. The best single reference source on the web for diets of this type (often fully or partially cooked), and one which includes links to many other related paleolithic diet sites, is the PaleoDiet website (off-site link.)

Many of us, myself included, seem to have done far better by going one step further than the partially-cooked traditional diet (also called Paleolithic Diet or Caveman Diet ) described above, and eating such a diet all raw. In this dietary system, all plant and animal products are eaten fresh and raw, just as our early ancestors did before the advent of widespread cooking, and, of course, before food processing. Such a diet seems to drastically accelerate healing and recovery from chronic diseases and other illnesses far beyond that seen with the partially-cooked traditional diets. There are several systems or philosophies which govern such a diet. All, or almost all, also stress the importance of drinking a sizable quantity of fresh and raw green juices daily. Incidentally, some folks (a minority) seem to do well on a purely vegan (all-plant food) raw foods diet, but the majority seem to eventually suffer some problems unless they incorporate some animal foods or at least animal fats in their diet. There are a number of systems, authors, popularizers and books advocating an all-raw diet which is essentially Paleolithic and which includes animal foods. Click on the link immediately below for an overview of these systems, and also an introduction to acronyms, terms and names associated with these diets.

My children discover raw egg yolks taste better alone than with rice

February 16, 2008 by Good Samaritan

I introduced raw egg yolk eating to my kids by adding it to their white rice. Our eggs are fertile, organic eggs, usually the brown native variety.

My children saw me eating the raw egg yolks plain. They asked to try it themselves. They love it! They like it so much they’ve been asking for it and craving for it the past few days.

Whoa! My wife and I have limited them to 3 egg yolks per day. And I believe in eating variety. They shouldn’t be eating the egg yolks everyday. I know I don’t. I would eat 3 to 5 egg yolks in a meal, but I don’t eat it everyday myself.

Maybe it is a fad. Maybe their little developing brains are craving for a deficiency. Maybe children’s growing bodies have obvious different needs from grown up bodies.  We will see.

My theory about the link between health and drinking the least amount of water

February 16, 2008 by Good Samaritan

Confused about the title? I will explain.

The common saying is to drink some 8 glasses of water every day. What kind of water is that? Tap water? Reverse osmosis water? Filtered water? Distilled water? Mineral water? Who knows right? Let’s just call this SUPPLEMENTAL WATER. Water you put in a glass and drink on its own.

What kind of diet are people on when they are recommended 8 glasses of water. Most probably a majority cooked diet. And it really doesn’t matter whether they are vegan or carnivorous. As long as they eat a majority cooked diet, they need to drink supplemental water. Water to push the food down their throats. Water to make up for the dehydrated cooked food they just consumed. The body senses the dehydrated “food” that just landed in the gut and immediately asks for supplemental water.

Now I’ve experienced a raw fruitarian diet and a raw paleolithic diet, that’s raw fruitarian + some raw fish and raw eggs and raw meats… and I found out that eating raw means never being thirsty. No need for supplemental water. I don’t want supplemental water.
I don’t need supplemental water. And I pee well just the same. My kidneys feel fine. My poop is great. I feel great. I do have to let you know that I live in the Philippines and we consume a lot of raw coconut juice. So raw coconut juice is my supplemental “water”. Ha ha ha, beats all kinds of commercial thirst quenchers.

Turns out those natural hygienists are correct. Humans are not drinking animals. We do not biologically have an apparatus to drink water. We don’t lap water like dogs or cats. We don’t have trunks to put water in our mouths. We should ideally be getting all the water we need from food.

Tell you what, I just went malling this evening and I brought with me some bananas and a cucumber. All the water I needed was there.

What about exercising? The kids and I went sprinting in the olympic oval and just ate dalanghita (green citrus) and had raw coconut juice afterwards.

So what is my theory about the link between health and the least amount of supplemental water? The least amount of supplemental water drank leads to better health. Coconut juice and raw fruits and raw meats deliver superior water structure. Structured water for optimum human hydration.

When I used to drink lots of supplemental water, I peed a lot. Now that I don’t drink supplemental water, I don’t pee so much, but I’m better hydrated. And of course I’m healthier than I ever was in my life. Every morning I would still pee a lot of pee. Gosh, where did all the water come from? My raw food.

My theory is that most supplemental water is BAD WATER. Add to the fact that the body fed with cooked, dehydrated food cries out for supplemental water is INFERIOR to a body that was fed RAW FOOD in the first place. The dehydrated cooked food is inferior, the supplemental water is structured inferiorly too. Raw food is perfectly structured for optimal consumption. So drinking and drinking lots of supplemental water is not all that good for health. I just kept peeing the excess because my body can’t make use of it. Structured water in RAW FOOD is the best water.

Now most people can’t stay away from supplemental water.  The best supplemental water is distilled water.  Reverse osmosis water next.  Raw coconut juice is raw structured water in the form of food and it is in my opinion the best.

Restaurants are run for profit not for your health

February 16, 2008 by Good Samaritan

My grandmother invited us to her birthday celebration at a restaurant and my wife quipped that ah restaurant junk food. Funny. She’s right.

This evening I went to the SM Mall of Asia and I observed people eating at restaurants and yes, they are eating junk food.

It is all a matter of perspective. We’ve been in the healthy side for too long we dread the thought of having to suffer a toxic meal every time we are invited to a celebration or have to go on business.

Our food bill has skyrocketed because we buy organic, wild, fresh food. But our restaurant budget is zero. Our western MD budget is also zero. Our vitamins and supplements budget is also zero.

Back to restaurants, I used to help run them. During those times I knew nothing about real health. All I knew is that recipes needed ingredients. And that the important thing is the food tastes great, fabulous, wonderful. Was the food healthy? I never thought about that question. Was the food profitable? That was important. How about wastes in the kitchen? That was important too. Spoilage was important. The less spoilage the better. So a restaurant needed to buy ingredients that had a long shelf life.

I also helped run a convenience store and shelf life was also an issue. Slowly but surely, those items with short shelf lives were eased out as they were unprofitable.

So you see folks, restaurant operators are in the business for profits. The more profitable a menu item, the more they want to push that. It just turns out that restaurant operators are not health aware people. If they were, they wouldn’t be in the restaurant business. Hell, they wouldn’t want to eat in restaurants in the first place!

So when we get caught in a restaurant, we hopefully choose the least poisonous item. At the end of the day, we still get to drink our reliable colon cleanse herbal, Doctor Tam’s Miracle Tea. Gets rid of the crap fast and easy.

Parenting tips or what we learned after some years as parents

February 16, 2008 by Good Samaritan

Here are a few parenting tips or just things we do for our children because this is what we think is best as of February 2008.

#1 We don’t let them watch TV because their brain wirings are not complete. Children need live human interaction.

#2 We do not feed them any form of soy, soya, soy milk. We think they are detrimental to human health.

#3 We do not vaccinate our children. We think vaccination is detrimental to human health. Our research shows that all vaccination statistics are lies to make $$$ for pharmaceutical companies. We think doctors are brainwashed or make too much money to give this up. The healthiest child we have is the one with absolutely ZERO vaccination and zero drugs consumed.

#4 We don’t give pharmaceutical medications to our children. No artificial vitamins. No artificial supplements. We just give them fresh, raw, fruit veggies and meats. Expensive but it works.

#5 We don’t give them processed foods. All foods must be prepared by us. We trust only ourselves. So in case of parties we stuff the kids before we arrive at the parties.

#6 We give them lots of good fats like extra virgin olive oil, buko meat, cow fat including bulalo, goat fat skin in kinilaw, fish fat with raw fatty fish salmon and tuna and other kinilaw, raw egg yolks (when they are older).

#7 We make sure our soap is of vegetable origin, not petroleum (detergents), we stay away for SLS (Sodium Laurel Sulfate).

#8 We do not use flouride toothpaste… flouride is a poison!

#9 We do reverse osmosis on our own water, we have a TDS meter and our reading is 2 to 4 TDS.

#10 Sleeping time is 8 pm.

#11 The children sleep beside us, in the same room. I think the US norm of kids sleeping in a separate room is idiotic and dangerous. We have adjusted to being parents even while asleep and wake up at a moment’s notice when a child is in need. And I get enough sleep even though I wake up at night sometimes. You will get the hang of it.

#12 We wait for 1 year old before we start giving solid foods. And only 1 food at a time. And do not begin with sweet foods.

#13 Try to breastfeed as long as possible so the children get a good start in life. The baby formulas are trash in comparison to breast milk.

#14 We don’t put anything on their skin that is not edible. IF it is not edible, don’t put it on their skin. Alcohol is toxic to the liver. Powder blocks pores. Lotions are petroleum products. The only thing we put on them is virgin coconut oil because VCO is edible.

#15 Sunlight. Every morning, we walk out on the streets and walk around bare topped.

I should expound on each one in future blogs.
