Fresh Live Giant Clams For Dinner!

February 25, 2010 by Good Samaritan

Last night’s traffic was awful!  Going home I first passed through C-5 and it was totally jammed!  I was able to make a lucky u-turn and tried going through EDSA, but  just the same, EDSA was a parking lot!  I made another lucky u-turn and made it back to Farmer’s Market parking lot in Cubao

It was past dinner time.  I was getting hungry.  Went inside the Dampa area and no surprise, did not find any cooked meats to my liking.  I went down to the wet market and found…. GIANT CLAMS!  “Halaan”.  Biggest I’ve seen so far.  Rare.  The sellers themselves said these were rarely sold in the local markets.  Usually they are exported.  The seller said divers using compressed air suits do the harvesting of these deep sea clams.  I don’t really know how deep.

These giant halaan clams cost 100 pesos per kilo.  I added 20 pesos to ask the sellers to open the clams for me and put them in a plastic back for my dinner.  How did the clams taste?  Extremely salty!  I think they put too much salt in the water they were dunked in for them to spit out mud and sand.  I think next time I should wash these clams.  I feel like I had salt overdose.

When I got home I had to wash over the salt with calamansi in water and some raw honey.  That wasn’t enough.  I got 1 tablespoon of ghee plus 3 tablespoons of organic white rice. Now that neutralized that terrible salt overdose.  It was just instinct for me… what was available that I could grab and neutralize this salt overdose thing?

Maybe in the future I will get these clams for the kids.  But after allowing them to spit their mud in salty water, I’ll replace the salty water with less salty water just to normalize things.

I took pictures of the giant halaan clams!

Parody Cartoon: More doctors prefer the AK-Vaccine-47 rifle

February 23, 2010 by Good Samaritan

(NaturalNews) This parody cartoon grew out of the idea that vaccines are “shots” that are being increasingly forced upon children and teens. At times, these vaccines are enforced at gunpoint or with the presence of vicious guard dogs — as happened in Maryland two years ago when a court judge ordered thousands of parents to bring their children to court for vaccination or face gunpoint arrest and possible jail time. Spicy Salmon Skin Thailand Brand tastes Toxic!

February 22, 2010 by Good Samaritan

We were on a long trip and going home from Anvaya cove. We had eaten all the food we brought with us. We were on zero food. The kids were very hungry. We passed by a Shell station just after the Dau exit and tried to find something the kids could snack on.

My 8 year old boy suggested spicy dilis. Whole little fish, that seemed a good “healthy” snack albeit cooked. But there was none in the Select store. The other thing they had was spicy salmon skin. I’m thinking probably it has good fat in it. Paid 155 pesos for it.

Kids wanted to have a go at it but I said that just like any new food, parents must taste the food first before giving it to the children. I tasted it. Immediately had an MSG rush in my tongue. Then toxic cooked fat… whatever fat that was… it was immensely toxic I reviled this junk food. My 2 boys wanted to taste it for themselves. They did have a bite each and thumbed down at it just like I did. Down it went to the trash can. It was a unanimous decision.

No wonder Spicy Salmon Skin Thailand brand is left on the store shelves at Select… it sucks! I suggest Select to get a clue and not sell this item any more. Just sell more spicy dilis!

New SCTEX highway has NO LIGHTS at Night!

February 22, 2010 by Good Samaritan

We went on a family trip towards Morong Bataan in Morong Bataan past Subic and of course used the new SCTEX highway: Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEx). Very nice, very smooth. One can run 140 kph or more on that highway but of course I don’t suggest you do.

I did notice on our way back as the sun was soon to set that there are no lights on the SCTEX highway! Aka, it is not safe to use the SCTEX highway at night? Personally, I would just use the long old way if I got caught driving at night. I have driven back and forth using the old lighted and populated way before.

What happened here in SCTEX? No more budget for lights? Is this some kind of big blooper? When will the SCTEX have lights and be safe to drive on during the dark?

Cancer from repeated use of Isopropyl Alcohol

February 20, 2010 by Good Samaritan

A friend has gone home to his province to see his dying grandmother. She has some form of breast cancer and it has spread and she is bed ridden. Only in her 70s. And she is in pain.

What is curious is every time she has some pain she asks for isopropyl alcohol in some cotton and rubbed on her pain spots. The family just loves isopropyl alcohol.

I taught my friend a thing or two about curing cancer. How they could just go to Vander Gaditano if they had the money and be done with the cancer.

As part of the causes and cure of cancer I taught my friend about the tragedy of repeated use of isopropyl alcohol. Taking the concept from Hulda Clark, isopropyl alcohol on the skin is absorbed and taken to the blood where it is filtered in the liver. A build up of isopropyl alcohol in the liver attracts the fluke worms and they take shop in the liver. The liver is impaired of its blood cleansing capacity and the body is forced to form tumors.

So I asked my friend, are you going to go over there and tell your relatives that drowning your grandmother in isopropyl alcohol is wrong? That isopropyl alcohol causes cancer? That your grandmother needs to do all these cleanses and all this raw vegetable and raw animal food nutrition?

You may just get into a fight, be branded as a know-it-all lunatic… or is it better to just shut up and let the old woman die? Which will be more popular? Which will be appreciated?

As you can see, curing cancer is hard because people have hard wired brains believing in medical fairy tales.

Eat Less Rice – minimize obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure, – Dick Gordon for President

February 20, 2010 by Good Samaritan

Sen. Dick Gordon is running for President of the Philippines in this May 2010 elections and he is encouraging fellow Filipinos to eat less rice.

“We should eat less rice … because [too much is] bad for our health. Diabetes comes with too many carbohydrates. I would like a campaign like that,” said Gordon, the standard-bearer of the Bagumbayan party.

Carbohydrates like rice break down as sugar and are stored as fat when not burned as energy. And an eat-less-rice program fits the doctor’s prescription against lifestyle diseases like obesity, high blood pressure and diabetes, Gordon said.

What can I say? Bravo!!! Sen. Dick Gordon hits a home run with his less rice is healthy issue.

Personally, I don’t eat rice. Stopped eating rice more than 2 years ago. I found out I’m all the better for it. In my family, my wife has reduced her rice and we have been encouraging our children to eat less rice. We want more protein and more fat. The more raw the better.

The logic I follow is the original diet of humans is a Raw Paleolithic Diet. For those still adjusting, they cook their meats. Me, I do not.

For the record, I’m voting for Dick Gordon for President because I and my wife know him personally to be a dedicated administrator who delivers far beyond your dreams. With Dick Gordon at the helm, the Filipino people will achieve more in 6 years than it has in the last 20 years.

China Slim Tea Dieter’s Delight Relieves Constipation making the rounds in our household

February 19, 2010 by Good Samaritan

Some wonderful people gifted me with Senna Tea branded as China Slim Tea.  It’s been making waves in our household lately.  Usually, people in the household are dependent on expensive but effective Dr. Tam’s Miracle Tea.  So the Dr. Tam’s ran out and what they saw left in the kitchen was China Slim Tea.

Probably in his time of need by not having pooped for 3 days, driver Benny tried the tea and pooped his troubles away.  Maid Arlene did the same and pooped her troubles away.  MIL also tried the tea and pooped her troubles away.  Powerful tea bag.

What is in China Slim Tea?  Ingredients: Cassia Acutifolia Delile (Senna Leaf), Folium Sennae, Tinnevelly Senna, Cassia Angustifolia Vahl, Panax quinquefolium, radix panacis quinquefolii.

China Slim Tea is a 100% pure and natural herbal tea.  It contains no preservatives, additives or caffeine.  This special herbal formula is uniqely blended from the highest quality herbs, whose values have been established and tested in the orient for centuries.

Directions: Pour one cup (8 fl oz) of hot water over one teabag and let steep for 2 minutes.  Do not over steep.  Drink one cup a day after meal.  Honey may be added to sweeten the taste.

Reminder: Due to the cleansing nature of this herbal tea, one may experience extra bowel movements for the first few days of usage.

My personal reminder is that this is a tool to unclog your colon.  Like all tools, do not abuse it, do not be dependent on it.  Change your diet to have more fruit and fat… yes FAT so you will naturally move your bowels.  Adjust your position in your pooping bowl by doing more squatting.  You can use a foot stool underneath your feet when you sit in your stool.  You do not have to read the newspaper or magazine nor sing while you are pooping.  Just get it over with in less than 5 minutes.
