5 Days Sick: UTI? Kidney Infection? Internal Bleeding? Dengue Fever?

January 20, 2012 by Good Samaritan

Our younger maid is sick, been so for 5 days.  We thought it was just those usual fevers people get when they haven’t been eating well.  Yesterday she saw a doctor and her urine analysis comes up with UTI… urinary tract infection.  Uh huh, but she does not feel anything on her urinary tract.  But she does feel lower back pain… kidney infection?  Just like her uncle?

I’m suspecting that kidney infection angle as she’s the kind of person who intentionally avoids fat.  She does not like eating fat of pork, or soft egg yolks in sunny side up eggs or soft boiled eggs.  But she does eat fried food.  And whatever bad cooking oil that is.  They use some kind of cheap “culinary oil” allegedly from coconuts, betcha it is hydrogenated or worse.

My theory is that lack of dietary fat and overdose of cooked protein whether from animals or seeds / beans, are kidney killer things.

I put her on pyroenergen for 1 hour, it made her feel better during that time.

Then I found out from her that for 2 days, her poops were jet black.  But today her poop was brown again.  Jet black?  Internal bleeding?

So I asked her co worker to spread / massage some virgin coconut oil on her skin.  If she won’t eat fat, she may as well absorb some fat through her skin.  If it’s an emergency, through her rectum is also possible.

Then later this evening her aunt discovers red spots on her back.  Symptoms of dengue fever?  We fan out to find anti dengue herbs.  In the garden we find some kamote tops leaves, pound into fresh juice, add some water.  Drink.

A maid and I walk out on the streets to find more Tawa Tawa weeds to cook into tea.  We found a big stash.  Made some tawa tawa tea and instructed 1 cup every hour.  By 11:30 I saw our sick maid still awake, asked them to let her sleep after taking a 2nd cup of tawa tawa tea.  All in all she’s taken a cup of kamote tops leaves juice, and 2 cups of tawa tawa tea.

Let’s wish her good healing tomorrow morning.

Pure Argan Oil from Morocco Available at The Fort Mercato Saturday Market

January 16, 2012 by Good Samaritan

Pure luck. Last Saturday I was at the Fort in Mercato Saturday Market and there was a table selling Moroccan Argan Oil. The marketing spiel was pretty good. Seemed genuine to me. An exotic oil from Morocco using an exotic fruit / nut from an exotic tree, the argan tree. Which upon searching on the internet is now considered an endangered species and can only be found in Morocco.

Well and good, we got it here in Manila. It will be very useful for me to use this argan oil for the final touches in my 10 year old boy’s eczema. We are at the stage where I put him in chamomile baths or apple cider vinegar baths, then after drying, I put on almond oil… or even better argan oil.

The claims of the benefits of Moroccan oil seem legit, easy enough to understand:

  • Restores and rejuvenates skin from damaging effects of pollution
  • Moisturizes, dry, dull skin
  • Regulates oily skin and helps shrink pores
  • Softens skin irritation and redness, especially in the treatment of acne, blemises, eczema, psoriasis and skin asthma
  • Makes scars and keloids less noticeable
  • Prevents stretch marks
  • Alleviates rheumatism and arthritis pain
  • Nourishes, strengtehns and protects the hair from roots to tips
  • Stimulates new hair growth
  • Moisturizes hair, promotes shine, smoothens frizz and flyaways
  • Strengthens brittle nails.

If you are interested in buying your own argan oil, these are th contact details of my source:

Longevity by Li Ching Yuen 197 or 256 Years Old. Died 1933.

January 16, 2012 by Good Samaritan

Awesome idol of a guy. And I thought 120 years old was to be an achievement. Now with this guy Li Ching Yuen is said to have lived either 197 or 256 years old.

We raw paleo dieters should be able to crack this code.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Li_Ching-Yuen

Now that I’ve found health in raw paleo diet and lifestyle, my next health goal is longevity, like this guy.

Mr. Li had 23 wives, 200 children, was a herbalist, martial artist and military tactical advisor with the Chinese government.  And at the same time, Li was 7 feet tall, a giant!

The secret of longevity according to Li Ching Yuen

  • Tranquil mind
  • Sit like a tortoise
  • Walk sprightly like a pigeon
  • Sleep like a dog

I just realized.

We raw paleo diet and lifestyle practitioners are the 21st century “hermits” and with global communications, a few of us will surely be able to do this longevity thing too.

I believe in cumulative knowledge and each generation trying to be better than the previous one.

Li Ching Yuen in 1927

Searching around the internet and it is such a laugh how those who have no Chinese arts contact think this Li Ching Yuen is a hoax. FYI, I’ve got some of the pieces already:

– My friend JM is a student of JD who is a master of internal martial arts and practices those Quigong techniques. And I’ve attended several sessions with JD.

– My friend SJS is a Kung Fu master, traditional chinese medicine practitioner, master acupuncturist and full time master holistic healer.

– My teacher MH in one of his lessons taught about the ancient breathing technique exercises that led to long lives.

– As Network Administrator and practitioner of the Raw Paleolithic Diet and Lifestyle, we modern day hermits are networked and talk about these things.

Longevity and health can be taught. Like this 109 year old black guy who has a book and gives talks on longevity. He learned about longevity and health from his own father while he was growing up. So he got a big boost right there.

Then there are the medical advances of the 21st century. My own father in law to this day never imagined he would live through his 70s, he used to think humans only lived for 50 years old. My paternal grand parents and great grand parents were centenarians, I’d have to be an improvement with all this knowledge at our fingertips.

Hypoglycemia Symptoms with Coffee, Experiment Concluded

January 15, 2012 by Good Samaritan

My organic brewed coffee experiment on myself showed that I am hopelessly allergic to coffee. It was not the raw honey as I previously thought. It was the coffee, the caffeine in the coffee that was causing me hypoglycemic symptoms whenever I take some brewed coffee for socials.Continue Reading

Comfortable Shoes! Bought 3 pairs

January 10, 2012 by Good Samaritan

Splurged a little. 5,000 + on 3 pairs of shoes and a leather belt. In SM, for 5,000 and above you can pay in 3 monthly installments at zero interest. Cool. 3 pairs of comfortable shoes after 3 years of not buying any new shoes for myself. It’s a treat.

Comfortable shoes are very important. It’s what I look for when I buy shoes. I first think of the color of the shoes I need depending on what I have right now. I’ve got a good pair of blacks. I want reddish, maroon type, brownish shoes. So I got 1 comfortable casual shoe. And 2 comfortable more formal type shoes. One of them long toed. Funny I thought long toed would be uncomfortable but seems I was mistaken, long shoes give that assured extra space.

Got to test the casual shoe pair this afternoon. I had a meeting in Manila and the easiest way was to take the train. So lots of walking today. Glad to have my new comfortable shoes on, walking around the city was absolutely enjoyable.

My elder boy told me that the new shoes look good on me and that my old shoes didn’t look good anymore.

I bought 3 different brands: Gibi, Rusty Lopez and W Brown. All Philippine made. Yes, we know how to make em real good.

Diabetes Cured via Paleo Diet and Sabotage Attempt by Playing up the Cholesterol Scare

January 8, 2012 by Good Samaritan

Unbelievable.  Remember our latest hero Jeff who recently cured himself of diabetes as he went on a cooked paleo diet?  Jeff reports… not so fast.  He just got word from his doctor that indeed his blood sugar problems are over, but that his cholesterol readings were “high” and that the doctor recommended Jeff go on a low fat diet!  Oh how they sabotage their patients!

Not so fast! The doctor called with the results of my lab work from my follow up appt. Blood sugar was “good”, but he advised I immediately start a low-fat diet because my cholesterol was “high”.. I didn’t even bother asking for the numbers. I’ll get them at my next appointment in February.

In the meantime, I’m feeling better and better every day. More energy, consistently normal blood sugar, and generally just feeling good.

Oooohhh, it’s times like these that I just can’t resist getting riled up:

High cholesterol BS (x10) or (x100) or (x1000) See http://www.thincs.org/ for honest science.

Do some egg yolk liver flushes (try 4 consecutive mornings). See instructions here for egg yolk liver flushing. Click here.

And then after a week take those damn cholesterol readings again.

High cholesterol just means your liver needs cleaning.

And be wary of pharma dictated cholesterol levels… they just want to sell drugs. A low fat diet is the surest way to illness.

High Cholesterol levels leading to heart disease is absolute BS.

Cholesterol lowering drugs are even bigger BS. Take enough of those cholesterol drugs and be depressed, and sick and suicidal.

I personally do not get cholesterol readings because they are BS meaningless.

Oh and Jeff,

Your doctor reeks of SABOTAGE.

Since he can’t make money out of you through labeling you as a DIABETIC and giving you diabetic drugs.

He’s trying to make money out of you through labeling you as HIGH CHOLESTEROL case and eventually giving you cholesterol lowering drugs. A low fat diet will NOT result in lower cholesterol readings.

This is 2012. The game is up. The pharma establishment is exposed for the FRAUDS they really are.

Learn to trust your feelings. You know you are FEELING SOOO MUCH BETTER. You are on to something GREAT. The low fat diet recommendation is the ULTIMATE SABOTAGE.

Diabetes Cure Kick in the Butt Requested at a Paleo Diet Forum

January 5, 2012 by Good Samaritan

Seems diabetes sufferers are finally discovering the paleo diet and are trickling into Caveman Forum. Good for them. Here is Tony requesting for a “kick in the butt” to launch / inspire him to go with paleo diet to address his type 2 diabetes problem.

My name is Tony, a Yorkshire guy living with my gorgeous girl in Glasgow Scotland. I have been T2 DB for too many years now and have been stupid enough to think I can deal with it. The docs keep trying to push me onto metformin but I have always been against pills yet even with my best efforts I still cant get my sugar under control. Before anybody states the obvious I know I am a fool thinking I can beat this alone and without medical help. I have had 2 foot ulcers that both took months to clear and the last one poisend my system to such a level that I had to have surgery to clear the wound and fortunately I got away with it. Now I am getting secondary problems with the DB which I belive are periferal nueropahy that is affecting my legs to the point where my mobility is getting worse and I need a stick when outside of the house…

Ah well, I can’t resist cries for help like this so I gave him my kick:

Medication is an idiotic harmful crutch for type II diabetes. In the medium term it will kill you.

The reason is you still haven’t got your nutrition done right if you rely on diabetes drugs. And of course the myriad of side effects of drugs.

And your SAD wrong nutrition will still kill you.

Rawish paleo diet will cure you. The rawer you can stand it, the better and faster you will heal.

Check this out http://bittermelondiabetes.com/2011/06/diabetes-treatment-guidelines-paleo-diet-and-bitter-melon/

Also this: http://www.curemanual.com/2011/04/type-2-diabetes-natural-cure-lecture-of-dewayne-mcculley-parts-1-3-of-13/

Sit through the 13 parts, he’s cool and funny… and write down his breakfast protocol, his super meal:

– seared wild salmon (note seared, as raw as you can stand)
– extra virgin olive oil (his raw fat)
– slightly steamed broccoli or brussel sprouts (plant minerals)

But in my opinion, just get raw wild salmon sashimi (or other raw wild sashimi like tuna or blue marlin) or extra thick fat raw / seared grass fed beef steaks, and if you must supplement with raw fat, get green pastures fermented butter oil with fermented cod liver oil. There’s also juicing appropriate raw greens.

Diabetes type II is absolutely curable.

What needs curing is the mental blueprint of health… away from the idiotic western medical mass media promoted SAD diet and drugs and the belief in the myths of cholesterol which leads to fat phobia, the myths of fiber, and the myths of complex carbohydrates.

and

Please take pics of your food. Post them.
Let’s see how much fat, and how much protein and how much carbs you get.
You need some carbs, just not the insane SAD portions.

In my experience, cooked animal meats make me sleepy. Raw animal meats do not make me sleepy.

I eat my food sequentially, mono eating, do not mix. That digests better.

So you could eat:

1. animal foods
wait 15 minutes.
2. vegetables

Please check your bowel movement. You must move every single day.

It takes time to learn new habits.

If you can find a successful paleo diet practitioner in your area you can be friends with, it will help you transition faster.

Don’t worry about cheating at times, don’t feel guilty. Changing habits takes time. Just get back on the horse again if you fall off.

With paleo diet sometimes people get hungry because they don’t eat enough meat. Because without the voluminous carbs, you need to eat much much more animal food and animal fat, in the quantities you aren’t used to, or expected. Think chowing down 1-2 pounds or more of fatty animal foods a day on a regular basis.
