Grandma improves a few days and she wants to cut down on her nutrition therapy

November 29, 2006 by goodsamaritan

Grandma made a surprise call this morning.  She said she had a good night’s sleep.  Of course, we engineered it with her nannie.  We gave her  lots of magnesium from epsom salt soaks and cashews.  We also had her not eat meat or fish at dinner time, just brown rice and vegetables.  I think that made her sleep real well.

Back to the call, nannie says they are running out of Epsom Salts, Q10 juice and Virgin Coconut oil but there was none available in their shopping center.  That means I’ll have to buy some and send it over there.  Just make sure my aunt pays me.  I can’t sustain this on my own.

Anyway, my grandma gets on the phone and says she wants to stop taking what just ran out and stick to her fish oil only.  Geeeezzzz.  That really got me angry. My grandma improves in 1 week and she thinks that is enough.  That is the sick lowering their standards of excellence.  I had to curse on the phone to make my point.

I told the nannie and my grandma that we can’t stop now.  Now that we just won round number one.  I explained that we are doing nutrition therapy, that this was just the beginning.  That she is going to get rid of her wheelchair.  That she was just nutrient deficient.  That she is going to impress everyone by being cured of her parkinsons disease.

Moving my grandma out of the hot room, teaching the water cure

November 23, 2006 by goodsamaritan

Yesterday I decided to call 3 times a day to see if the caregiver can move my grandmother out of her hot room.  She cannot.  In fact by sunny 10am she said my grandmother had taken a nap in her room where the sun shone brightly and the room temperature soared.  As I have previously exposed, this caregiver cannot stand the heat in the room and leaves my grandmother alone.

A healthy caregiver cannot stand the heat and my grandmother says this is the heat she needs.  And this kind of slow death by heat has been happening since March 2006!  No wonder my grandmother is dying!

After lunch yesterday I decided to pay a surprise visit.  Tugging along my 5 year old boy, I had the driver drop us off at the train station.  We bought a one liter mineral water bottle and rode the train to my grandmother’s house.

Caught in the act!  It was 2pm and the sun was shining brightly directly in her bedroom, it was hot, the TV was on and my grandmother was taking a nap.  I woke her up.  My 5 year old woke her up.  She was surprised.  And I spoke to her in her only half good right ear that she was walking out of this hot room and into the cooler guest room.  Either that or I bodily carry her against her will.  And I can do that.  Nothing a weak old granny can do.

We transferred to the guestroom at last and I gave instructions to both grandma and her caregiver:

  • Please follow my instructions to take 6 capsules of fish liver oil per day.  You are just taking 1 cap per day.  This will fix your coldness and numbness to the hot rooms.
  • I taught them how to administer the water / salt cure recipe by using the 1 liter bottle and a measuring teaspoon.
  • I gave a schedule that my grandmother leave her room 9am to 4pm everyday.  I actually wanted her to transfer to the guestroom, but she refused for no good reason.  I will be working on her to do a full transfer.

More follow up is needed.  I will be calling again after I post this blog entry.

Grandma’s heat problem, constipation, and sudden weakening

November 21, 2006 by goodsamaritan

The last time I reported leaving my grandmother on sunday evening, refreshed and strong. She went around her room and her bathroom all by herself. Confident that I have done a good job, I left for home.

Monday I get a call from her caregiver complaining that my grandmother finally unloaded her poop, not just once but twice. Success after 6 days of non pooping. But Tuesday the caregiver said my grandmother was even weaker.

What is the problem? A pattern is emerging. Two consecutive weekends I nurse her to health, I take her back to her makati home and by Tuesday, weakness and disaster strikes. I remember now, last week I chanced upon her room in the early afternoon and found her room unbearably hot. I talked to the caregiver and she agreed that the room does get hot beginning after 9am until 4pm everyday as the sun shone in. Her daughter does not know this. My grandmother says she likes this heat. I say she has omega 3 deficiency problems and this has bent her perception of temperature as she is always cold during normal temperatures… just like my brother.

My grandmother it seems is like a frog in a pot slowly being cooked to death by a hot room. It does not help that she is salt deficient. She cannot take in more water. Omega 3 deficiency makes her think the unbearably hot temperature is good for her. But her own caregiver cannot stand that afternoon heat everyday and just leaves my grandmother in her room.

There lies the apathy and ignorance of the people surrounding the sick. Maybe I’m just observant. The masters of the house are out at work during those hot times. The caregiver can’t stand the heat during that time and leaves my grandmother to herself. My grandmother cannot sense the extreme heat and dehydration she goes through everyday and gets weaker and weaker. A slow dehydrating death.

What to do? Move her to a better room. Move her out to cool parts of the house when the sun overheats an area. Do the watercure recipe: Mix a 2 liter bottle with 1/2 teaspoon of sea salt and have this 2 liter bottle poured out in 3 oz cups and see to it that my grandmother drinks every 30 minutes the whole day everyday from the time she wakes up to the time she sleeps. Enforce her taking 6 capsules of omega 3 fish oil everyday. I heard she takes only 1 capsule per day.

Is my analysis correct? Can I implement this remotely?

The Water Cure Recipe

November 20, 2006 by goodsamaritan

From the WaterCure2.org website: http://www.watercure2.org/mankind.htm
The Water Cure Recipe

Drink 1/2 your body weight of water in ounces, daily. Example: 180 lb = 90 oz. of water daily. Divide that into 8 or 10 oz. glasses and that’s how many glasses you will need to drink, daily. Use 1/4 tsp. of salt for every quart of water you drink. Use salt liberally with food. As long as you drink the water, you can use the salt. Use only 50 to 80 mineral, no additive, unprocessed sea salt.  Avoid table salt.  It only has three minerals in it. While the best sea salts contain all minerals, you should eat a banana or two a day for potassium and take some magnesium, calcium and zinc to maximize your immune system.Avoid caffeinated or alcoholic drinks. These are diuretics and will dehydrate you. Every 6 oz. of caffeine or alcohol requires an additional 10 to 12 oz. of water to re-hydrate you.

Monitor your pH checking both urine and saliva with test strips. We buy ours from www.microessentiallab.com or 718-338-3168. We pay $2.50 per 100 for the strips that measure from 4.0 to 7.5. There are strips available with a broader range also. The best pH is 7.36. The lower the reading, the more acid your body is and the more difficult it is for it to repair itself because it is then in a degenerative state. You will find that in most cases, the people with cancer and other terrible health problems are very acid. Water & sea salt are the best for neutralizing acid, but there are foods you need to select for proper pH. Read all about pH on curezone.com or buy the book, “The pH Miracle.” You will be amazed at how acid soda, coffee, tea and beer are if you check them with litmus paper. Likewise check the worst and best foods with litmus paper also so you understand how important it is to eat properly. Exercise must also be done regularly as nothing works without proper exercise. Walking is best. See exercise link.

About the Free Water Cure

If you don’t get your car’s ball joints greased, you have metal on metal and the joints will wear out. If you don’t get enough cartilage building water and salt, your cartilage will degenerate and bone rubs on bone causing your joints to wear out and degenerate causing arthritis. According to Dr. B., most so-called incurable diseases are nothing more than disease labels given to various stages of drought.  Thanks to Dr. Batmanghelidj, you have options. As always, Dr. B. recommends that you consult your doctor before making changes, especially where congestive heart failure and renal problems (related to liver and kidneys) may be a factor.

THIS WEB SITE AND THAT OF DR. BATMANGHELIDJ IS A GIFT OF LOVE AND IS NOTHING MORE THAN GOD’S RECIPE FOR A HEALTHY LIFE. All that we ask is that when you are totally convinced that his discovery is true, then share it with everyone you can. There is only a handful of us who’ve taken on the most powerful system in our country, the $1.7 trillion healthcare system. In no way are we blaming those of us who work in the system because this deadly system has created the problem and it must be reformed. According to Dr. B., the ignorance of healthcare is directly killing more than one million Americans a year by treating drought in the human body with drugs and money generating procedures. In reality, we are all contributing to this holocaust so long as we put profitability before responsibility. This means that so long as we believe that our worth as human beings is measured in terms of money and power, we are contributing to everything that is taking away from the quality of our lives. No one is to blame for what is happening, but we are all responsible. May God protect us from ourselves.

Real-Infanta Quezon Beach Trip and Salt Water Cure Attempt

November 20, 2006 by goodsamaritan

We pushed through with the beach trip to Real-Infanta Quezon. Initially we attempted to use the unfinished scenic Marikina-Infanta road. No luck. Smack in the middle of the trip, a recent landslide has made the dirt road impassable and we had to turn back. We instead used the Tanay, Rizal route. The whole trip less the back tracking would have been around 4 or more hours. I estimate that if in 2 to 3 years the Marikina-Infanta road is fully finished, we can make Infanta in around 3 hours or less.

On to the beaches in Real. Our volunteer native tour guides initially wanted to take us to Alderico Resort. But to our dismay, once beautiful Alderico has closed and is out of business due to the recent Infanta disaster last year with the typhoon collaborating with the loggers causing hundreds of logs and loose soil from the mountains to come crashing down and buried many in Infanta. We wound up staying overnight at Club Manila East as their rooms were easily accessible from the parked car. This was very important due to my Parkinsons disease stricken grandmother. But the beach access from Club Manila East had 10 steps down which my grandmother refused. So for the beach, we went to the small informal beaches on the same stretch.

My grandmother had a nice time. It was initially just me and the driver. But a couple of lady acquaintances with a 1 year old kid lightened up the spirits of my grandmother. Driver Vic doubled as the digger of sand and helped with the salty sand covering on my grandmother. We took on the beach once on Saturday afternoon and once on Sunday morning.

Results? Me and the driver think she grew stronger and could walk better and longer now. But this was Sunday evening as we took her home to Makati city.

I just called up my grandmother this Monday morning and found out her arthritis is acting up on her knees!

Nanay on the beach

Now grandma does not want to push through with the beach trip

November 17, 2006 by goodsamaritan

I just called my grandmother this morning to arrange that I will be fetching her at 6pm tonight so that she can sleep over at my place so we can have an early trip tomorrow to the beach at Infanta, Quezon.

Then she tells me she doesn’t want to go anymore.  Why?  Because she says we don’t have that much money and that she still feels weak and would rather be stronger.

I told her that the reason this is an emergency trip is because she already is an emergency case.  Her health is at its worst I have ever seen and it is now or never.  If she delays she could die.

Then she tells me she has stopped dieting and started eating eggs.  Well I never told her to cut down on her food consumption.  I just told her to stop eating meat, milk and fried foods.

Then I tell her I’ve already arranged for a driver and that we can stay overnight only if we had not much money.  Then she says, “Okay okay just so you will stop pestering me.”

Such statements would have detered the common good samaritan, but not me.  I know her.  She needs to go to the sea now.  Its either now or never.  Death is knocking at my grandma’s door.

In the Philippines, we use Bitter Melon (Ampalaya) to control blood sugar levels

November 16, 2006 by goodsamaritan

From my forum post at curezone.com:

I’m glad our country the Philippines has gotten the rest of your countries excited in the use of Virgin Coconut Oil for your health. I use vco for massage, detox against candida, supplement against constipation, deodorant, ear cleaner, make up remover, cooking oil, etc.

I would like to introduce our bitter melons, we call them “ampalaya”.

Bitter melons are usually cooked as a vegetable, by itself or with other vegetables. My grandmother and a friend swears this is their favorite vegetable, but more filipinos find the taste tolerably bitter. But we know it is good for us. It cleans our blood.

For all you juicing cowboys here, holistic doctors in my country routinely recommend juicing bitter melon fruit by itself or with other vegetables as a blood cleansing tonic.

Bitter melon is poor people’s insulin. Since pharmaceutical medicine is too expensive for poor filipinos, bitter melon is cheaper and readily available in our everyday market. You got that right, bitter melon is available all year round, everyday in our country. See how poor filipinos fight diabetes http://www.operationdiabetes.com/

So how about pharmaceutical style studies? Here is a blog with 200 studies in it about bitter melons… http://www.charanteausa.com/bittermelonstudies/

What do I know?

Fresh bitter melon is best.
Lightly cooked bitter melon is next.
Dried bitter melon rehydrated as tea is next.
Bitter melon tea is next.
Bitter melon capsules next.

What do I think?

Fresh bitter melon is one of our most nutritious vegetables.
I think the blood cleansing works.
I think the blood sugar lowering works.
I think this is good to keep your doctor from pumping you with bovine insulin.

Bitter melon is not the only food around so do not forget to eat the other good vegetables.

Follow the other websites and books that have well defined and made easy to follow guides to cure diabetes: Andreas Moritz , Mike Adams, DeWayne, etc.

Use bitter melon to keep your blood sugar at normal levels so your doctor and your family will stop pestering you with bovine insulin injections which andreas moritz rightly identifies as dangerous.

See how bitter melons look like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitter_melon

If anyone requests, I’ll take some pictures of what our bitter melons look like in our markets in the village.
