Here is a supporting article that is very comprehensive and supports my research that iodine deficiency is widespread and chronic.  Iodine deficiency may be causing a lot of havoc on myself, my children, my brother, my wife, my grandmother and a whole lot of people.

The parasite problem I envision for my grandmother may be due to a mere iodine deficiency.  Remember that iodine kills parasites.

My research about my grandmothers’ chronic fatigue syndrome has led me to today’s widespread iodine deficiency. It is a problem today because soils are depleted, the US RDA for iodine is gastly incorrect. We live far away from the sea. Salt iodizing is too little to be of use.

I ordered an iodine patch test on her wrist and the iodine patch disappeared within 24 hours. A sure sign of iodine deficiency. Tonight I ordered the painting of her feet bottoms, her wrists and her neck with iodine tincture.

Tomorrow I will be buying lugol’s iodine from the aquarium supplies store. From this, I will be ordering iodine supplementation in her water. Initially 2 drops per 8oz glass of water 3 times per day as instructed in the Earth Clinic website.

I will also be ordering the eating and purchasing of fresh sea weeds for my grandmother every single day until her iodine deficiency is met. Same for me and my children too.

Cross your fingers, I hope this gives my grandmother the energy boost she needs and kills a whole lot of parasites and bacteria in her blood.

This is the usual sea weed available in our wet markets.  This is the type with the big pulps, the second type of sea weed has small pulps.  The Filipino-tagalog name for sea weed is “lato”.

I just ordered the nannie that starting tomorrow, my grandmother will only bathe in cold water. No water heating to her desired temperature. She will shiver to stimulate her body to circulate her blood much more freely.

Let’s see if they can follow this latest doctor’s order.

Update:  I called this morning and they did do a quick shower with cold water.

Oh my gosh! Oh my gosh! I sound like a school girl freaking out. I’ve gone and followed the trail to cure my grandmother’s chronic fatigue syndrome and weakness suspecting a malfunctioning thyroid due to iodine deficiency. This lead me to lugol’s solution, which is basically potassium iodide and iodine.

Surprise surprise. This lugol’s solution is not sold in your drug store. It is sold in your aquarium supplies store. You know aquariums where you take care of little fishes in your home or office. I stumbled onto the tank of the month for 2002 and it has a list of the things the hobbyist does that made his aquarium a winner:

• Calcium addition is weekly.
• Alkalinity addition is done twice weekly.
• Magnesium addition is done once every 2 weeks.
• Lugols Iodine addition is one drop weekly.
• DT’s Phytoplankton is added 2-3 times weekly (one full cap per dose).
• Reef Solution addition is done weekly (one full cap per dose).
• The fish are fed twice weekly.

What a rush. What an exciting similarity. My weeks of searching for cures for various illnesses point to maintaining the salinity, alkalinity and cleanliness of BLOOD! And the aquarium hobbyists knew these all along. You just look at the parallels with human health and you have the perfect formula.

By gosh! I’m gonna be an aquarium hobbyist. For the purpose of learning their healthy secrets to be applied to humans!

I just watched Fast Food Nation the movie. I must tell you now that I have not read the book, though as the family healer, I have taught my children that all those fast food chains are selling junk food. We look at eating out as a risk. We do not control the marketing or the cooking. The food is probably not organic, the safety standards slacking, the condiments are the cheapest the restaurant can get away with, health and nutrition are non-existent in their set of priorities.

The movie does not expound on why fast food eating is detrimental to your health. We have a good number of relatives living in the urban United States and they are victims of the fast food culture. They have no time, no money, no resources to eat home cooked meals on a regular basis. Regular fast food eaters are the height of grinding POVERTY, and they have poor health to show for it.

The movie focused on the plight of poor Mexicans crossing into the US border and wanting jobs, even if it has to be in the most dangerous places like the meat processing plants.

The movie exposes the money saving shortcuts done to survive in a cut throat fast food industry focusing on the big one beef harmburger. There are the artificial smells being concocted by chemists, the cleanliness in the stores run by lowly paid students, the contaminated meats in the processing plants, all in the pursuit of lowering prices for competition and profits.

The movie is star studded to attract the regular folk. But I did not find it very entertaining, nor did I feel any large impact. Maybe I’m being unfair, but for impact, Terrorstorm, Freedom to Fascism, and Super Size Me do a better job.

My grandmother’s chronic fatigue syndrome is bugging me no end.  I already ordered a parasite cleanse from humaworm.com but we will have to wait until it arrives.  My grandmother is getting weaker by the day.

To increase her energy, we will have to add apple cider vinegar to her regimen.  The earth clinic website recommends 2 tablespoons ACV in 8 oz of water 3x per day and in 2 days my grandmother should have more energy!

This should also be worth a try for my brother and his skin allergies.

Of course I will experiment this on myself as well.

We had just come home after watching fireworks at the SM Mall of Asia.  We were having a late dinner.  My 3 year old boy suddenly comes up to me with tears in his eyes asking for his nannie.

I did bring him to his nannie and told him it was nothing for him to cry over.  A few minutes later the nannie tells me that my son told her that he has a peanut stuck in is left nostril!  What?  I immediately dress up and think of sending my son to the nearest community hospital, they can poke it out with their instruments.

My wife was having a massage and I told her the situation.  She got up and had a look at our son.  Now I remember, my wife has eagle eyes, she checks on our other son when he has ear problems.  Sure enough we got a flashlight and I got the ear pick shovel we use for our older boy.  With my wife’s sharp eyesight and dextrous hands, out popped the peanut!  Whew!

I did not do these things when I was a child, neither did my brothers and sisters.  My wife says she didn’t do these things either.  Well our first son once stuck an air gun plastic  pellet up his nose, and this second son stuck a peanut up his nose!
