Christmas eve and the entire extended family was having the big dinner.  This dinner included a very high priced premium brand of ham which came from a very prominent politician.  Some nephews joined in and they had a small toy dog with them called “Smalley”.  My brother in law told everyone in the dinner table to NOT feed Smalley any ham, as ham may kill dogs.  What the?  Our knee jerk reaction was… so why are we serving ham to humans?  If ham kills dogs, then it could kill us humans too, or make us sick.

I trawled the internet forums for testimonials as to this urban legend of ham may kill dogs.  Sure enough, the most common ham effects are:

– diarrhea
– pancreatitis
– death

So it seems that some dogs may be able to use diarrhea to expel harmful ham.  The ones who cannot expel immediately get pancreatitis, and some dogs do die from eating ham.

There was even a report about all pork being harmful to dogs.  And what about humans again?

Of course there are dogs and people who are unaffected by pork, unaffected by ham.

The premium ham we have is made from a true leg of a pig.  It seems to me that many “hams” in the supermarkets are fake… meaning they are reconstituted from other pig parts, like hot dogs and longganisa, then shaped into ham.  Maybe those are the harmful ones.

Notice the question mark? I’m not sure if any of this is true. Let this be my disclaimer. Rhian Ramos and Mo Twister (Philippine TV celebrities) allegedly Aborted / Killed Their Baby? Was the woman too poor? Choosing money over your own baby? Devastating for the Dad too! It seems to be a personal video guilt recording and anguish.  Men / Fathers have NO RIGHTS when their woman decides to kill their own child… right?

And what is this alleged pressure from the girl’s parents? And manager? And the network?  Pressure to do what?  Pressure for WOMEN to NOT BEAR CHILDREN… when they are at the exact  biological optimal AGE of 18-24 to indeed bear children?

Need I remind our “bossings”, captains of industries, policy makers, that being SEXUAL at ages 18-24 is very NATURAL, so very HUMAN. And that sexual acts are reproductive acts that MAY lead to PREGNANCY… and that PREGNANCY is a GOOD THING because what is created are our CHILDREN.

Is the insinuation of pressure here that for the money, money, money to keep flowing, actress of child bearing optimal age is supposed to suppress NATURAL, INSTINCTIVE, BABY MAKING PROWESS to the point of allegedly aborting / murdering her own child in eutero?

If all this confession is true, then it proves that we as a civilization HAVE FAILED OUR WOMEN because this woman turned out to be TOO POOR to be able to afford her own sexuality, too poor to afford her own fertility, too poor to even bring to term and give birth to her own FIRST CHILD!

So maybe the angry people cursing this FATHER are angry because they do not want to hear the TRUTH of the PAIN and ANGER and FRUSTRATION biological fathers also FEEL. Men are just as HUMAN as WOMEN. And Mr. Mo Twister needed to express his emotions, even to just a camera, just for his own personal consumption.

It just happened that indeed maybe someone scavenged this video and posted it on Youtube… may be a good thing for public consciousness that abortion / murder of your own children can be the saddest point in our lives. Hell… DEATH of an IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBER is always some of the SADDEST moments of our lives.

It seems to be true. This civilization is CRUEL TO PREGNANT WOMEN. Can civilization finally get to being truly PRO-WOMAN by ensuring that NO WOMAN ever need to abort / kill her own baby? That women be protected by making contracts / arrangements / work SAFE for PREGNANT WOMEN? And that there be ZERO DISCRIMINATION against PREGNANT WOMEN?

Children are OUR FUTURE. And these children’s mothers must BE PROTECTED by ensuring a HAPPY, ENCOURAGED, FINANCED, ZERO DISCRIMINATION environment?

How about some congressmen or senators filing an ANTI-DISCRIMINATION of PREGNANT WOMEN BILL?

2 days of nightmare stress. My top customer’s server was under stress. Hitting capacity of what then was the technology made for that purpose. It was a collection of errors and bugs that needed solving initially fast, then long term.

The NFS server used to host hundreds of email was going down. That was the identified problem. The solution lay in various methods by I wound up by making a big virtual machine second hard drive. So the virtual machine now had 2 virtual box “hard” drives. But it took a long time to copy all the hundreds of gigabytes of data to it. It is done. And all is well now.

The kicker in the problem was initially I was thinking of a direct VMDK link to raw lvm partition. This needed a new 3rd hard drive in the server. I ordered a 3rd hard drive from the data center. But for some software error on their part, they thought I was ordering a reinstallation of the entire server!!! Stress! Their mistaken thought would cause them to erase everything on my perfectly good working server which had around 3 virtual machines running in it. Nightmare! From solution to worst disaster ever.

I had to hurriedly back up all the files in case they didn’t get my emails, and trouble tickets and I called them some 5 times over the telephone to get at their bureaucracy.

I wound up ordering a BRAND NEW Intel i7 2600 top of the line dedicated server with 3 x 1TB hard drives in it. I will simply have to quietly or maybe abruptly move all my virtual machines to that new dedicated server and forget about the old machine.

Upgrade happens this weekend. Unbelievable.

Then this morning at the same time a top customer has their office blocked from their smtp server.

Then this morning too another top customer had database corruption in his dedicated server.

Unbelievable.

Stress can only be relieved by actually solving the problems. And they were solved.

And oh, I forgot to tell you that this all happened while my main work station was being reinstalled for some new hot configuration so my emails and files were still not all working.
