Frozen Durian from ECJ Farms is a Winner!

September 12, 2011 by Good Samaritan

It is durian season again.  Marketers are figuring out that it is easier to just transport shelled and frozen durian.  So it’s not exactly freshly opened, but it’s still durian.  ECJ farms used to bring in fresh durian a few years ago, I’d wait for September when they’d announce a buy 1 take 1 thing and I’d buy lots of durian.

Times change and everything ECJ farms now sells is frozen and packed.  And they freeze it not so hard too, they found a way to just add a simple layer of another plastic and the durian keeps fresher.

Lately the ECJ farms durian variety is TD-4.  And it tastes lovely, heavenly, sweet and filling.  Must have bought close to 10 packs this season at 180 pesos per pack.  Although this TD-4 variety tastes good, it’s also great to taste other durian varieties.

Back to ECJ farms durian TD-4.  But them in Tiendesitas, Pasig.  Call 633-6914.

Yummy good!

Antibiotic Therapy for Pneumonia is All Bunk: See Driver Benny Get Well Part 1

September 12, 2011 by Good Samaritan

Emergency pneumonia case falls on my lap.  We were vacationing in Calamba Laguna when just as we are to go back this emergency pneumonia case comes up.  It is driver Benny, my in laws’ driver.  He just came from the faith healer in Los Banos and now needs physical healing.  A few days ago he was in the hospital emergency room for some nebulizing as he could not breath… actually he felt really bad.  Doctor wanted him confined but he didn’t have any money.  Besides, antibiotic therapy for pneumonia is all bunk anyway.

And with lack of money, Benny went to a herbalist referred by his friend.  He was given special herbs and that sort of helped him breath a bit better.  Until he could come to the faith healer today and finally see me.

Around 12:30pm I first saw Benny, he was red, and haggard, and his eyes were bloodshot red.  I checked his pulse and at 80+ seemed normal.  Interviewed him and he ached all over, his back, his tummy, he had a cough that just did not stop and he couldn’t expel mucus and his throat hurt from the coughing and too much coughing so he couldn’t sleep and at the same time he was constipated for a week.

From interviewing Benny I found out he had been abusing the avocado leaves tea and had been taking it daily for more than a month now.  Avocado leaves tea is good for kidney cleansing but take it only for a maximum of 3-5 days.

First aid, I had Olea oil and had his daughter rub some on his back.  That will give some relief.

I convinced Benny that I needed him to be personally treated and supervised for 3 days with me.  Could not get cooperation for him to stay in the house, some people were objecting that pneumonia was contagious… which I disagree with… but none the less… no house… so I volunteered my office.

On the way back from Calamba, we had to go around town to buy supplies: fruits, castor oil, quantumin, powerful probiotics, organic apple juice, enema bucket, nebulizing kit and saline solution… passed by the house for the pyro energen machine.

Benny’s treatment went as follows:

  • mindset conditioning, paradigm change, teaching him why this is the right way.  Raw paleo diet, detox, electricals
  • In Calamba had some olea oil on his back
  • In the car had him take 60 ml of castor oil for colon cleansing
  • He dumped all his intestines out and so I had to rehydrate him and balance him with lemon and raw wild honey, later apple juice and some rock salt, and when he was hungry, a whole avocado.
  • I then gave him 5 capsules of probiotic quattro to help calm down his stomach.
  • I put him on pyroenergen for less than 1 hour and that helped him relax and take a nap
  • We got all our stuff and went to my office.
  • Had Benny do 1 round of nebulizing with the saline solution.
  • Called the neighborhood massage outfit for a massage therapist, gave him a 1 hour massage using virgin coconut oil, for fat and for energy.
  • After his massage he had some durian.
  • Then he went on to nap for 1 hour while on the pyro energen machine again.
  • And while doing that I had my own massage
  • Saw his cough slackening but he could sleep.
  • Oh the air conditioner was on… he breathes better with the air conditioner.

And so I left him to sleep on his own so I could go home a few blocks away.  I will see him very early tomorrow.  I think he will sleep well for the first time… in so many weeks.  And he will be on a raw paleo diet for 3 days so he will learn that it is pretty easy.  I will probably try and give him an egg yolk liver flush tomorrow morning.

Antibiotic Therapy for Pneumonia is bunk.  Pneumonia is just people drowning in their own mucus.  De clog the body, give it lots of detoxing food including lots of raw fat and be rid of pneumonia.  Let’s see if my guess with Benny is right.  These principles worked for my then 88 year old grandmother and then 98 year old grandfather, so it should work for 51 year old Benny.

I cannot use cayenne tincture for Benny.  He is allergic to that stuff.

Rambutan Season: Los Banos Mount Makiling the Capital of Rambutan Varieties

September 11, 2011 by Good Samaritan

One benefit of our new vacation house at the foot of mount Makiling is that this September is the height of Rambutan Season!  My wife’s favorite fruit… and with her influence, our childrens’ favorite fruit.

In the old days we only knew of 2 kinds of Rambutan, the “tuklapin” and the “supsupin”. Now the sellers are more sophisticated.  They put up their signs and say the actual variety of what the rambutan is.

Yesterday we went to a farm at the side of mount Makiling that had rambutan trees.  Their rambutan variety was called Maharlika and another one they forgot what it was called.  It was great to pick ripe rambutan from the tree and eat it on the spot.  Of course organic.  Volcanic organic.  This Maharlika variety was not supsupin.  It was not exactly tuklapin either.  You could bite lightly and the flesh would give way and you can scrape the flesh off the seed with your teeth.  And the flavor was refreshingly tangy good.

The other variety of rambutan they had tasted sweet but different.

We took a tour up mount Makiling by car and  decided to taste a couple of fruits on the way down.  We came upon a rambutan variety named Sakay.  It tasted much like the Maharlika variety but the skin was thicker and the flesh was thicker.

We also came upon another rambutan variety called R.R.  It was tuklapin and tasted much different from the Maharlika and the Sakay.

What is out of favor with the buyers are the supsupins as those stuck bad to your teeth and you would need to floss your teeth afterwards.  But some people like that flavor.  Those usually are grown in the Candelaria area further south.

So we have kilos and kilos of rambutan.  What we found out from the rambutan farm is that the rambutan came with lots and lots and lots of red ants.  It takes quite an effort to remove the ants from the rambutan.  Rambutan comes with ants okay?  That’s natural and good for you.

Turtle Soup / Stew Recipe With Coconut Milk

September 6, 2011 by Good Samaritan

I recently re-connected with my wild turtle hunter contact and bought 3 small green soft shell turtles… all weighing in total 1.25 kilos alive. Had the children play around with them for a day. Did not feed them. That should clear them of poop. Then cooked them for dinner last night.

Recipe for turtle soup, actually turtle stew with coconut milk runs like this:

  • Boil a big enough pot of water.
  • Insert the turtles in the water alive. Their instinct is to go in their shell.
  • After 10-15 minutes stop the fire.
  • Disassemble the cooked turtle and remove shell, and any peal-able green skin.
  • In a wok or big pan insert your chopped onion, garlic, ginger and freshly squeezed coconut milk / gata (we used 2 coconuts this time). Add pepper to taste.
  • Stew for a few minutes until it starts to evaporate out.
  • Add some Sprite or 7-Up to adjust taste. (this is not a paleo diet ingredient so you might want to skip this)
  • Turn off the heat and serve… probably done in 15 minutes.

I must say this is one of the best tasting turtle stew recipes we’ve done.  Turtle meat with zero condiments taste great.

I don’t usually eat cooked meat but I take exception to turtles. I don’t think it’s possible to eat them raw. Or maybe it is and I’m just queasy.

Enjoy!

Soft Shell Turtle - careful, they bite.

Lots of people swear via testimonies that they cured their children’s asthma by eating turtles. Last Sunday was no exception. Some neighbor onlookers there showed 3 children who swear their asthmas were cured due to eating these turtles. For these very poor people to be spared hospital expenses for nebulizer services meant a lot.

Antispasmodic Medications Should Never Be First Aid for Intestinal Spasms

September 5, 2011 by Good Samaritan

I have come across bad practice with the use of antispasmodic medications. Antispasmodic abuse. Being resorted to as first aid for relieving stomach pain. This can lead to potentially more injurious and deathly results. I will explain.

Intestinal spasms are there… for a purpose. Our bodies are very intelligent. It is the quacks resorting to antispasmodic medications for first aid who are below this intelligence.

Intestinal spasms happen for many reasons. There is something wrong. And the body would like to correct that “something wrong” with intestinal spasms. So intestinal spasms is a healing process, something the body wants to do, is trying to do, to fix itself. Say it consumed poison, something indigestible, something is stuck, intestines are clogged, etc.

Antispasmodic medications will abruptly stop this healing process which where the patient could wind up worse. Poison remains, the indigestible item remains, the stuck item remains, the intestines remain clogged, etc.

Now why would you do such a thing? Because in the paradigm of quick relief BS going around, masking the pain NOW is financially rewarding? Oh, but people may die because of these actions.

Let’s take the case of my own son last year when he suffered from intussusception or telescoping of his large intestines and we wound up in the hospital. He was in total blinding pain and bleeding rectally every 20 minutes for 48 hours. One of medications scheduled to be given him was an antispasmodic. This went through my eagle eyes of approval or disapproval. I saw this antispasmodic medication and outright disapproved it and signed the waiver.

To cure my son’s intussusception, I administered castor oil orally, then virgin coconut oil enema and then olive oil enema to clear my son’s bowels. He got well. And without the recommended surgery that would have cut his large intestines and replaced with a plastic tube and the docs said his chances for survival was a mere 50%.

What if the antispasmodic had been delivered? There would have been a false sense of security. Left alone, my son may have bled to death. If surgery would have gone through the best scenario was a plastic tube for his colon. And the possibility of death: 50 percent!

So the next time you get a recommendation for anti-spasmodic medications… stop and think for yourself. Clear the bowels first. Get something like 60ml of castor oil in the drug store and clear out everything… 30ml for children. True first aid is clearing the stomach down to the intestines.

Horrible Stem Cells Fake Meat: From Pig Cells Fed with Horse Fetal Serum

September 3, 2011 by Good Samaritan

Industries finding new ways of making money are getting into the business of making more fake meat. All in this media propaganda of dehumanizing people and making the slaughter of animals seem horrific. What is horrific is humans are so out of touch with the reality of food and their proper place in the food chain.

Hello people… killing animals for us to eat is what humans do. This is our proper place in the world. It is in the aversion to meat and the aversion to slaughtering animals that is ridiculous. And you wonder why humans are sick these days. All the fake food going around.

More fake food: Horrible Stem Cells Fake Meat: From Pig Cells Fed with Horse Fetal Serum

Why would you want to eat that. Just because it is in a form of a hot dog you want to eat it? Hell, I don’t even want to eat a “hot dog”. I want to see the the real meat and recognize what animal I’m eating and if the animal was healthy. And this is why I do all the wet marketing. I want real food for real health. Fake food will never give real health.

So enjoy the article. It is a trial balloon of some sort if corporations want to invest in such a piece of invented meat… again…

STRESS: Relieved by Solving the Problem – Computer Geek Stuff

September 2, 2011 by Good Samaritan

2 days of nightmare stress. My top customer’s server was under stress. Hitting capacity of what then was the technology made for that purpose. It was a collection of errors and bugs that needed solving initially fast, then long term.

The NFS server used to host hundreds of email was going down. That was the identified problem. The solution lay in various methods by I wound up by making a big virtual machine second hard drive. So the virtual machine now had 2 virtual box “hard” drives. But it took a long time to copy all the hundreds of gigabytes of data to it. It is done. And all is well now.

The kicker in the problem was initially I was thinking of a direct VMDK link to raw lvm partition. This needed a new 3rd hard drive in the server. I ordered a 3rd hard drive from the data center. But for some software error on their part, they thought I was ordering a reinstallation of the entire server!!! Stress! Their mistaken thought would cause them to erase everything on my perfectly good working server which had around 3 virtual machines running in it. Nightmare! From solution to worst disaster ever.

I had to hurriedly back up all the files in case they didn’t get my emails, and trouble tickets and I called them some 5 times over the telephone to get at their bureaucracy.

I wound up ordering a BRAND NEW Intel i7 2600 top of the line dedicated server with 3 x 1TB hard drives in it. I will simply have to quietly or maybe abruptly move all my virtual machines to that new dedicated server and forget about the old machine.

Upgrade happens this weekend. Unbelievable.

Then this morning at the same time a top customer has their office blocked from their smtp server.

Then this morning too another top customer had database corruption in his dedicated server.

Unbelievable.

Stress can only be relieved by actually solving the problems. And they were solved.

And oh, I forgot to tell you that this all happened while my main work station was being reinstalled for some new hot configuration so my emails and files were still not all working.

Raw paleo diet instinct. Stop eating. Glad to have had some durian though. Durian is in season now. It’s September.
