Proud Mom Announces Her Son’s Circumcision on Facebook

May 19, 2011 by Good Samaritan

The tradition of circumcision is alive and well in the Philippines. I know there are anti-circumcision groups being formed in the good old imperial nation and they probably want to rain down on the Philippines and re-educate Filipinos on why we should not circumcise our boys.

Here is a screen shot of the circumcision announcement on Facebook:

For the non-Filipinos reading my blog, I’ll expose you to some Filipino culture shock.

My son’s classmate, 9 year old Blaine got circumsized today and his proud mommy is announcing it to all her friends on Facebook!

I censored mom’s name because the anti-circumcision Taliban might harass her.

Reasons why Filipino women are adamant about circumcision:

#1 – Hygiene: Filipina women are of the opinion that un-circumcised “peters” are unsanitary, they have smegma / “kupal” where “kupal” is a derogatory swear word insinuating you stink because you have “kupal” and assumed uncircumcised. Un-circumcised “peters” will always smell worse than circumcised “peters.”

You can ask the more “experienced” Filipino women, or those in the “trade” and they will tell you their immediate preference for circumcised and their complaint when they get an uncircumcised “peter”.

#2 – Sign of Manhood, entering teens, may now court girls. A teenage boy in the Philippines will be too ashamed to court any girl if he is uncircumcised. His fellows and the ladies or elders will ask him why he has the gumption to court a girl and ask tease him if he is circumcised.

#3 – Circumcision is so ingrained in Philippine society there are circumcision missions, charity services, sponsors like the Rotary Clubs promoting circumcision for all boys during summer break.

I remember my son’s teacher who used to be a nurse and says one of her old tasks were to insert catheters in “peters” and she just had a hard time with fore skinned foreigners as she tries to find the pee hole.

So foreigners, think hygiene, Filipino women are very particular about hygiene. They take 2 showers a day. And when Filipinos have sex they shower before sex and after sex. Think about that.

Egg Yolk Liver Flush Results for 9 yr old and 7 yr old Boys

May 19, 2011 by Good Samaritan

My 2 boys have been handed to me by my wife for clearing their itchy eczematic legs. Putting them on a raw paleo diet. Started their regimen with egg yolk liver flushes. Came up with 1 raw duck egg plus 1/4 cup of freshly squeezed calamansi juice plus 1 tablespoon of Anchor butter (unsalted). Drank the concoction first thing in the morning.

Eventual results were:

– My 7 year old boy was stinky farting
– 7 yr old boy finally did his poop and said his poop stinked, kid this age has liver garbage.
– 9 yr old boy also pooped and smelled the liver bad smell he reports, he’s done liver flushing before.

Getting them adjusted to raw meats again. Searing their barbecues 5 seconds each side. Tomorrow barbecues get seared 4 seconds each side, then down to 3, then 2, then 1, then none.

7 yr old boy is less adjusted to raw meat than my 9 yr old who once did 2 months straight raw paleo diet.

Have to be firm and teach them about raw paleo diet. They need to know this life skill. Told them the goal was to be itch free in their legs. Eczema free in their legs. Their mom has given up on her other “methods”. Raw paleo diet will do it.

Another egg yolk liver flush for them scheduled this morning. This time I will use virgin coconut oil instead of butter. Hopefully there will be less complaints.

In the afternoon kidney cleansing with avocado leaves tea.

** Update **
The 2 boys say their itching on their legs have drastically been reduced.
We are on the right track.
So it seems cooked food pollutes these boys’ livers.

Raw Paleo Diet Lecture at 2pm on May 22 at Herbana Farms Harvest Festival 2011

May 18, 2011 by Good Samaritan

I will be participating as one of the speakers in Herbana Farms’ Harvest Festival at 2pm on May 22, 2011.  I buy my organic vegetables from farmer Gil Carandang of Herbana Farms.  And he invited me to give a little talk about how to practice a cooked paleo diet / raw paleo diet lifestyle in the Philippines.  I will strive to do a demo and lecture.  Probably make myself hungry for the demo.

Since this demo is near the Tagaytay and Taal lake area I can pass by Mahogany market and buy some fresh raw grass fed beef.

Diabetic Diet Food List – A Better List that WORKS!

May 17, 2011 by Good Samaritan

I am just so annoyed with false diabetic diet food list information. This is why diabetics continue to be perpetually sick. It’s because of these darn idiots who know absolutely nothing about health and claim they have a diabetic diet food list. So for you Filipinos from me here shopping at my sources around Metro Manila, here is my diabetic diet food list.

Diabetics need the best fats and proteins, the best in vegetables, the best fruit. The key word is PALEO DIET. Organic / wild animal, organic wild vegetable, organic wild fruit.

Best Fats and Best Protein:

Raw Saturated Animal Fat from Grass Fed beef or Wild Ocean fish like blue marlin and tuna. Seared for 5 seconds (no cooking oil) or sashimi raw only. Only sea salt and pepper allowed as condiments.

Technique for beef: slice thinly with a lot of FAT, season with salt and pepper and put in barbecue stick. Pan sear for 5 seconds each side. Yummy tender! Kids just looovvvveee this.

Fertilized organic duck eggs. Raw or sunny side up or soft boiled.

Fertilized organic chicken eggs. Raw or sunny side up or soft boiled.

Best vegetables:

Lightly steamed organic spinach, lightly steamed organic broccoli, raw bitter melon fruit, juiced raw kamote tops.

Best fruits:

Avocado, buko / coconuts, durian

Best drink:

Freshly squeezed calamansi / lemon with cool water and ice plus a touch of RAW WILD HONEY.

Avoid FIBER. FIBER is a myth. A harmful myth.

Do not eat legumes.  Do not eat nightshades. No soy. Stay away from all grains!

Do not eat wheat in all its infernal incarnations like whole wheat, white flour, pan de sal, noodles, puto, tasty pan americano, pizza, pasta, spaghetti, bread, etc.

Do not eat cooking oils.  Only trust in virgin coconut oil and ghee.

Stay away from the CHOLESTEROL SCAM. The whole idea is a scam.  Stop being concerned about cholesterol.

The keyword again for your diabetic food list is PALEO DIET. Paleo meat, paleo vegetables, paleo fruit.

This is my short list. A better list that works. This is a healer’s list. MY list. Do not stray from this list and in 1 month you will feel much much better. Say lowering the amount of diabetic drugs you are taking and eventually getting rid of them… that sort of thing.

Food Poisoning Claim Addressed by Activated Charcoal and Castor Oil

May 17, 2011 by Good Samaritan

Family driver Benny’s daughter in law claims food poisoning last week. Benny was in a rush to ask me what I have in my bag of cures for food poisoning claims. This I’ve always got at home: activated charcoal and castor oil.Continue Reading

Reminding My Children About the Value of Raw Meat in their Diet

May 16, 2011 by Good Samaritan

Grandma left a small plate of her super special expensive grass fed beef from Bukidnon.  This one pleasantly tasted gamey like deer.  Delicious.  It’s meant to be eaten raw like sashimi.  I remembered to give the 3 kids a bite full each to remind them the value of raw meat.  They were searing barbecued beef condimented with salt, pepper and honey.  That isn’t bad, but it’s not as good as fully raw.

Initially all 3 were giving me a hard time closing their mouths in protest.  I got to my eldest.  He’s the easiest one to feed raw meat as he was on a fully bloody raw meat diet for 2 straight months some time ago to cure his TB.  The next one, my 2nd boy was then grudgingly convinced to eat his raw beef.  Then my youngest, the girl stone walled.  Yeah, she’s practicing her female wiles on me, but remembering to eat raw meat in their diet is a lesson that has to be ingrained in their teachings.

I had to tell her that that expensive beef was grandma’s beef and that she had left that specifically to be eaten raw because it tasted really good.  Then I told them I was royally pissed off that yesterday they attended a birthday party in a pizza restaurant and they ate commercial sickening pizza.  So I had to threaten the kids if they are going to give me a hard time with feeding them the most nutritious food, then I will no longer spend and just give them total junk food until they get sick and surrender.

I told them the story of how their uncle left for college in Los Banos and being away from home he only ate standard junk food like instant noodles, turo turo meat and rice and fast foods… he succumbed to great illness he could not continue his studies and his parents had to move him to Manila due to medical reasons.

I told them of how their mother got appendicitis when she was pregnant with that resistant little girl.  Her appendix was probably stuffed with wheat and other junk food.  Good thing our little girl 4 months in eutero survived that appendectomy surgery.

I told them of how I used to live by myself and only ate at fastfoods, bought bread, cheese, hotdogs and bad cooking oil.  I got sick a couple of times and got hospitalized due to unkown viral illnesses.  Unkown… yeah right… we know now.

I reminded the kids that when they get sick they know that raw paleo diet is the diet to turn to and they need practice, lest they forget.

That got the girl to eat her raw beef piece.  Then it was seared condimented beef barbecue and some souped wild bangus and some organic kamote tops leaves and some banaue rice terraces original heirlom Tinawon rice.  Very good from a paleo diet + super special rice point of view… but not good enough from a raw paleo diet perspective where incurable diseases are cured.

Ah the satisfaction of parenting.

Talisay, Taal Lake Near Tagaytay Fish Bounties: Tawilis, Bangus, Biya

May 16, 2011 by Good Samaritan

This morning I went with my wife and mother in law to their church in Calamba, Laguna. After dropping them off me and the driver drove off towards Tagaytay hoping to hit Mahogany market to buy some freshly slaughtered raw beef. We followed the map on my Samsung Galaxy Android but the road fell short and we wound up down the lake and into Talisay.

Oh well, at least in Talisay they had taal lake fish! I got 7 kilos wild tawilis and 8 kilos wild bangus and 1 kilo of wild biya.

Tawilis is always wild and delicious. We tasted the raw tawilis, which is good, even raw. Note that the tawilis sold in Metro Manila is not the real tawilis from Taal lake.

Biya is always wild.

Bangus, these ones maybe got out the pens and grew up in the lake wild. Caught be nets, they have net marks. At home I tasted some charcoal cooked bangus and yes it tasted good, even the tummy, no bad muddy dirt smell or taste. Wild is good.

Taal volcano is grumbling, no tourists allowed in the volcano itself, the Talisay people have no trekking industry for now. Patronize their fish at least. Drive down to Talisay today.
