Convenience stores serve only junk food, they do not deserve our business

Our family used to operate a convenience store in a gas station, business is business and only profitable items are to be sold. Unprofitable items are perishable items… real food is perishable… so eventually convenience stores wind up selling long shelf life items… junk food.

Witness how mind numbing the display of this convenience store goes:

You are presented with many “food” choices all choices are bad. Choose none of the above. They do not deserve your money and those junk foods do not deserve to be ingested in your body.

I joke about this to my kids and warn if they were bad, their punishment would be unlimited junk food so they will suffer.

We do not watch television so none of that junk is familiar to us.

Real nutritious food in this country does not come in fancy colorful wrappings. You go straight to the wet market or organic cooperative to buy real nutritious food.

Convenience stores by virtue of aversion to spoilage of short shelf lives sell only junk food.

My 4 year old girl suffered grave cold symptoms and felt terrible

As I was about to sleep last night, my 4 year old girl started to moan.  She was having difficulty breathing as she had a bad cold.  I picked her up and brought her to a separate bed away from the sleeping older brothers.  She knew what was next, she knew I was going to shoot some Quantum Mineral Drops in her nostrils… which she hated, but will guarantee her to be able to breath in 1 minute.  Far faster than nebulizing.

She was fussy and turned away from me so I got impatient and forced the issue.  Got her.  He he he.  Sure, cry some more, but in a few minutes she calmed down and slept some… just some.

Early morning around 5am she was crying again.  She said her throat was painful.  My wife knew this was coming last night but because she thinks giving a child a herbal colon cleanser at night will probably make it messy for her in the morning, she decided not to give it to our girl.  Big mistake.  Is it worth this much suffering?  So at 5:45am I gave my daughter 2 tablespoons worth of Dr. Tam’s Miracle Tea.  We had to wait until 9am for my daughter to poop away her problems.

In the meantime, I wanted her liver to work.  At 5am I gave her 1 raw fertilized egg yolk.  Later she said she was thirsty and had some water melon.  And 5:45 the colon cleanser Dr. Tam’s. My girl is a glutton so at breakfast she had more fruit, some guava.

At around 7am she was puking.  Good for her.

She was crying the whole morning.  She felt terrible.  What do you expect?  She ate lots of bad food this past weekend.  It never fails you know.  Well meaning relatives who feel we the parents are “depriving” her.  Yes, we are depriving our children of misery of unhealth and illness.  So the well meaning spoilers who want to provide her with bad things gave her those things… which from their point of view was not junk food.

Junk food is a point of view.  The well meaning relatives found it satisfying to un-deprive our kids by feeding them commercial yogurt with fruit flavor, commercial tocino, commercial corn that looks most probably Genetically Modified, wheat bread, and when we aren’t looking, daily bites of chocolate.

My wife wasn’t content with the colon cleanser and gave her homeopathic Mercurious Vivus 4x per day.

I bet this episode isn’t over.  I arrived at dinner and they were already eating.  My daughter was given rice and cooked bangus fish.  I’m not happy with that.
