9 Year Old Boy’s Terrible Cold: Germ Theory or Detox Theory?

January 10, 2011 by Good Samaritan

Our boy started having a terrible cold and asthma like symptoms yesterday Sunday early morning. My wife thinks he got her germs… you know germ theory, she had the germs and it was passed on to my son. I differ with that theory and said to her my theory is that colds are detox symptoms, the holiday festivities, including grandma’s 70th birthday celebration took its toll. Dirty and cooked food abound and his body is detoxing through mucus. If germs were the culprit then I would be the germiest person in the house with my raw paleo diet.

Suspect food would be the ube jam, the christmas ham, soy sauce in the cooked horse and other things or drinks we parents may not have seen.

Yesterday morning I gave him an egg yolk liver flush, which he did the same time as his mommy.

Last night I took my boy with me to my friend Jackie and we had a 20 minute zapping session with her overman zapper. Our zapper is on loan to my uncle. Yesterday too while Sifu Jen Sam was here, he gave some of his Chinese supplements, my wife allowed that. Sifu says that children his age are too young for acupuncture, they don’t have the discipline to lie still.

This evening was not good for our son, he felt weak. He couldn’t breath deep enough. This morning he had some diluted cugar cane juice and some chicken soup. Still waiting for our child to be ready to drink the kamote tops juice. And later the bitter ampalaya leaves juice.

My wife measured his heart rate and it was 114 beats per minute.

Wife thinks she would like to take our son to Divina Hey Gonzales, her doctor of choice, MD, Homeopathic, Anthroposophic.

Of course I want our son on raw paleo diet. And today on liquid diet. I wanted to stop all supplementation and all current anthroposophic medicine. That’s my suggestion. Wife is the caretaker so it will be her decision.

6 Year Old Daughter’s Bad Cold Addressed by 3 days of Raw Paleo Diet

January 10, 2011 by Good Samaritan

Our 6 year old girl missed the first 2 days of classes this 2011. Too sick down with stuffy cold. Her mom told her to stay at home and go to daddy for 3 days of raw paleo diet. Our daughter resisted at first but then relented that that was the fastest way.

The first day she had 5 second seared beef, raw duck egg for her meat and lots of fruit. What we have are papayas, guavas, melons, water melons. The 2nd and 3rd day she had more fruits seared horse and more horse kinilaw which is horse in organic vinegar plus pepper plus garlic.

On the 3rd day our girl was fit enough to go to school and just bring with her some fruit and horse kinilaw.

On the 4th day this saturday our girl woke up with no more cold but her 2 older brothers had colds. Hmmpphhh.

It’s those holiday celebrations where people pig out and taste crap just like everyone is doing and they all suffer for it. Next up is our 9 year old boy with an aggravated cold, he’s absent today.

Boiled Corn Hair Plus Cogon Roots For UTI or Bladder Infection?

January 10, 2011 by Good Samaritan

My driver last week had UTI or bladder infection. He had painful urinating experience. Aside from his kidneys being in pain as well. At first he had kidney pain which was addressed with a raw diet, but by new year festivities he went back to his normal and deadly Filipino cooked diet. And I found out he was eating sugar candies on a regular basis. (Told him to stop with those candies as those may be feeding his inflammation.) He asked for an advance in his salary to be able to go home to this home province of Ilocos Norte where he knows a healer there who may have the answer to his problem.

Driver is back and he says the healer’s recommendation was the corn hairs of 3 corn cobs and 2 tablespoons of the roots of the cogon grass. Boil this in 1/2 casserole of water. Drink it all before breakfast. That’s it. Driver says this morning that he feels some improvement but there is still some dripping of urine after he zips up, some urine is left over. I would say he had just had this concoction for 2 breakfasts. We will have to wait for its full effects.

Interesting, I will have to do this experiment myself for taste and further herbal documentation.

Pork Warning: South Korea Buries 1 Million Pigs due to Foot and Mouth Disease

January 8, 2011 by Good Samaritan

Foot and mouth disease outbreak confirmed in November 2010 in South Korea. Since then, 1 million pigs have been culled. A news report on news.sky.com was more concerned about selling vaccination drugs to South Korean government, and criticizing the South Korean government of not allowing vaccination drugs in their pigs. The twisted news report was also propagandizing against live burying of pigs as inhumane. Those are not important. The only important news item is that there is Foot and mouth disease in South Korean pigs and this poses a threat to pork consumers in countries where these diseased pigs can be exported to… not officially, but unscrupulously, you know, it’s business.

Most pigs in the supermarket are intensively farmed animals. Most are fed genetically modified produce, which are a prime suspect why the pigs are sick. I had interviewed a farmer that his genetically modified produce are unfit for human consumption, so they are fed to pigs and chickens as “feed” he says. What the? The logic is 1+1. Why are the pigs sick?

Pork is very popular in my country. Second only to chicken as a staple food. Personally, I don’t eat pork for myself, and I avoid pork. There are times for socials I’ll get barbecued pork for me and my kids, but with this news report… pork is absolutely out of the equation. As for our purchases of pork for our maids, maybe we will switch to chicken for the moment or a certified local pork source.

Excuse me while I go to the Malabon City market and purchase a couple of kilos of yummy healthier horse meat.

Fattening Our 9 Year Old Boy Attempt with Anthroposophic Meds, Probiotics and Raw Honey

January 7, 2011 by Good Samaritan

With the new knowledge we have gained in 2010 it’s time again to attempt to fatten our 9 year old boy. My wife last month started our son on anthroposophic medicines of Dr. Divina Hey-Gonzales. That’s not my domain, that’s my wife’s domain and I sure hope she and Dr. Divina know what they are doing. My domain are the probiotics and the raw honey.

Learning from the raw paleo forum guys, some people have success with real raw honey. Yesterday I went to the OPTA store and bought some authentic green honey from Palawan. Expensive stuff for 400 pesos for a small bottle, but I sure hope it does the trick. My wife tasted it and she said it was the same honey she used 6 years ago recovering from birthing to our 3rd child.

I also bought 20 capsules of the expensive OMX probiotics. Giving our son 2 capsules 3 times a day which makes 6 capsules a day, probably good for 3 days. I will then invest in Healthy Options Quattro probiotics and of which I took some 30 capsules a day of that stuff. Maybe our son can take 12 capsules a day of that probiotic. Then I will get kefir and he can stuff himself with kefir. Then I will get Yakult and he can stuff himself with that as well. This is the same kind of therapy I did for myself last month which worked wonderfully for me.

If it’s good for me, it may be good for my son. The honey was good for my wife, so it might be good for our son. This therapy should finish in 3 weeks. Divina’s anthroposophic meds is a 6 month thing.

I am guessing that a complete set of probiotics loaded in the gut will allow our son to absorb nutrients more efficiently.

Driver has Painful Urination – UTI? Maybe Alka Seltzer Will Help

January 6, 2011 by Good Samaritan

Yesterday my driver was complaining that his back pain / kidney pain had returned after January 1 when he started eating cooked food again. This time he had burning pain urinating. Seems I have to remedy this UTI case before he becomes debilitated and becomes absent. Which means I’ll have to take the kids to school and my work schedule will take a hit.

Seems my driver’s case is more of bladder infection. Ho hum, if he just sticked to raw, this would be easy. This morning I gave him coconut juice with coconut meat, watermelon and raw horse tapa, an all raw lunch pack to help him.

I’m looking over at Earth Clinic for UTI / Bladder Infection remedies and the fastest relief seems to come from Alka Seltzer, so we will try Alka Seltzer this morning. The driver and my secretary are on a mission but they will have to make a diversion back to me so I can get him alka seltzer and he can take it immediately.

Follow the directions in the Alka Seltzer Original Box – take it as directed – 2 tablets in 4 oz of water, it should work in 1/2 hour, many recommend taking 2-3x the day you have symptoms.

What is Alka Seltzer?

Alka-Seltzer is a combination of aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid), sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3), and citric acid, designed to treat pain and simultaneously neutralize excess stomach acid (the “Alka” being derived from the word “alkali”). It is provided in the form of large effervescent tablets, about 1 inch (25 mm) in diameter, which are dissolved (two at a time for the usual adult dosage) in a glass of water. As the tablets dissolve, the base (bicarbonate) and the acid (citric acid) react vigorously producing carbon dioxide gas (hence the “Seltzer”), which also produces enough agitation to allow the active ingredients to dissolve slowly.

from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alka-Seltzer

Driver should be back in 1 hour. Let’s see if this remedy works.

Note that this is merely remedy, the cure is diet change.  Alkaline diet.  Raw Paleo Diet.

Tons of Fruit A Day to be Successful at Fruitarianism

January 5, 2011 by Good Samaritan

I tried a raw fruitarian diet for 2 months at the end of 2007. I failed miserably, became paper thin, felt cold all the time. But here is one pretty lady Freelea who says she is succeeding at fruitarianism or what she calls an 80/10/10 raw vegan diet. But whoa, she eats up to some 50 bananas a day! And tons of fruit!

See her explain a typical fruitarian diet day for her.

Listen to Freelea explain in a more detailed fashion how to succeed at fruitarianism.

Now don’t mistake this blog post as an endorsement of fruitarianism. I repeat, fruitarianism didn’t work for me. I stayed raw, raw paleo, raw fruit raw meat and a few raw vegetables here and there. But for some people like Freelea, fruitarianism has been working so far at some 3 years for her.

I have heard that her good friend Durian Rider is also on the same diet as her but was rumored to be taking B12 shots.

What I do know is people run out of B12 sooner or later, but for now, enjoy Freelea’s videos.
