5 Flower Remedy Drops Review by Family and Me

After having gone through the trauma of the big flood Ondoy in 2009, my wife and kids were prescribed the 5 flower remedy by Bach Flower remedies.  Then with the smaller flood in 2012, again my wife and kids were prescribed the same 5 flower remedy… a couple of drops under the tongue 3x a day?  I’m not sure how many… for a week.  Their review, nothing really.  Nothing to report about it.

I got curious with the 5 flower remedy this September 2012 and heck I decided after all this stress of moving servers en mass I may as well try this thing upon the recommendation of our anthroposophic doctor since I asked the question while on checkup with my 2nd boy.

My first day observation: Wow, powerful stuff.  It was pulling me down to earth from the adrenalin rush of trying to accomplish things.  Wanting to give me bed rest.

My 2nd day observation: I was trying to fight off the forced bed rest because I hadn’t finished with my work.  I have to work…

My 3rd day observation: This thing is giving me headaches, headaches I never experienced in my life.  So I know this must be it… note that I do not ever experience headaches… just now.

So I stopped taking the 5 flower remedy for myself.  And slowly but surely, I am getting rid of the headaches.

The lesson I learned here is that maybe I should also be in a state of mind and reality that I can indeed rest and not work for the few days that a remedy like this wants to deliver.

Yes indeed I can feel the description of what the anthroposophic doctor was telling me about the spirit or is it soul not being aligned with the body and bringing it together… or for my physical observation that it wants a relaxing shutdown for the moment.

And having watched their youtube video about what the 5 flower remedy does, I can relate.  But I wasn’t ready for the cure.  Maybe in a few weeks my server migration will be done.  I’ll give myself a few days vacation. I’m in a work related somewhat healthy stress to accomplish things and not sick, not out of control shock, not in any trauma and not in need of any herbs or medication.

Anti lock brake systems are not new.  ABS has been around for at least a decade.  Somehow it has been proven reliable enough.  ABS disadvantages: The only disadvantage with ABS is extra cost.  If you are strapped for cash, you may think of getting a new car without ABS.  On the other hand, the little extra for ABS might save you from a couple of accidents.  And if you are paying the car on loan, the difference in monthly payments may not be that much.
