Made a new batch of Cayenne Tincture this New Moon of January 2009

Today is new moon day.  January 27, 2009 just after Chinese New Year.  Nice day for me to have picked to make a new batch of cayenne tincture.  I still have my old batch of dried cayenne pepper and a new batch of fresh ripe cayenne… the Thai variety, very cheap at 80 pesos per kilo.  I also bought some cheap vodka, Cossack Vodka at 60 pesos per 0.7 liter bottle at 80 proof x 3 bottles.  I also got 2 RC Cola 1 liter bottles, had to buy the cola and gave it to the maids to drink.  They appreciate junk food.  I appreciated the new bottles.

The method I did was to:

1) fill 1/3 blender container full of dried cayenne pepper.  Put in enough vodka to just a little above the line of the dried cayenne pepper.  Close the blender jar. And pulse.  Pulse. Pulse.  Then pour the blendered dried cayenne and vodka into a pitcher.

2) fill 1/3 blender container full of fresh ripe cayenne pepper.  Put in enough vodka to just a little above the line of the fresh ripe  cayenne pepper.  Close the blender jar. And pulse.  Pulse. Pulse.

3) Pour the blendered dried cayenne pepper with vodka into the blender again mixing it with the blendered fresh ripe cayenne pepper.  Then fill up with more vodka.  Pulse a few more times.

4) With a funnel, pour mixture into empty bottles.  I used 4 bottles this time.  Filling each with approximately 1/2 liter of the cayenne tincture pre-mix.

5) Store the 4 bottles in the wine cabinet and we will wait for at least 1 month before bottling them in little bottles with droppers.

Why time my cayenne tincture making during the new moon?  Experience by herbal tincture makers say your cayenne tincture will be more powerful if you make it during the new moon.  So I did.

I felt better, more confident once the job of blending the cayenne and the vodka.  With new cayenne tinctures waiting to just ripen.  It feels good that we are again ready and prepared for any problem in the future,  whether it be breathing difficulties, heart attacks, strokes or severe colds.

My previous and very first batch did very good things when I gave it away as a christmas present to many friends and relatives.  The best reward was when I gave a whole bottle to my 98 year old grandfather who was dying of pneumonia but me and my cousin helped save him and the cayenne tincture was part of that success.

Many safer alternative tools to antibiotic drugs

In our raw paleolithic forum I made a post about many alternatives to oral anti-biotics in trying to cure a foot infection. This is a short list of what I came up with as tools in our family arsenal.

I really do not like drug company anti-biotics as they are dangerous stuff and the side effects can be disastrous. They are objects of last resort to me. Doctors prescribe anti-biotic drugs because that is the ONLY tool they have in their arsenal.

The world has a lot more tools than drugs. These are some that I know and use.

If you want to use garlic, I would crush it, put it on a piece of plastic with virgin coconut oil / extra virgin olive oil, then stand on it under the soles of my feet. Do this 10 to 15 minutes. That is how I administer anti-biotics to my family.

Another method we administer anti-biotics is via ingestion of 1 drop oregano oil in 1 liter of water. Or you can use 2 drops of super concentrated oil of oregano in the water. Dip your feet in it. If you can stand stronger, add more oregano oil drops. Oregano oil is powerful stuff, do not drop it undiluted on your skin! I get my super strength oregano from www.barefootherbalistmh.com

Another anti-biotic is electronic, we use a zapper from www.worldwithoutparasites.com which can be locally placed wherever we might have a problem. Helped our family many times too. Clove oil is another antibiotic you can merely splash on your feet / skin. Powerful stuff. Gets rid of pests. I got my clove oil from a nearby Indian grocery. (Indians from India)

If you have festering puncture wounds you can cut and jam in freshly pounded cayenne pepper and it will work really fast. Actually if I step on an iron nail, cayenne pepper jamming is the first thing I would do.

Another cheap and easy anti-biotic for feet is hydrogen peroxide. What we have in our stores is a 10 or 20 volumes solution. Mix 50% with water. Dip feet in it for that anti-biotic treatment.

Another is silver… colloidal silver… put in a spray bottle and spray on the spot to your heart’s content. Spray and spray and spray.

What kind of disasters are we talking about regarding antibiotic drug use? Oh the usual candida, yeast infection and sudden death syndromes…. really bad side effects… potentially fatal… sometimes the cure is worse than the disease in the case of drug type antibiotics.

Urban Survival Tip: A lot of wet market fish transported with formalin

Meeting Mike and Eva Bote was very educational.  They told me that many years ago they were in the fishing business.  They said that as soon as fish is loaded on the truck from the fish port to the wet markets, the fish is loaded not just with ice, but with formalin as well.

Now I enjoy going to the wet market and buying fresh ocean fish for my family every week, but this is alarming.  Now I have to segregate which sea food most likely do not contain formalin.  The live ones being sold most likely will not have formalin.  I don’t buy farmed freshwater fish so I don’t care about bangus / milk fish, tilapia and cat fish.  The big fish are blast frozen.  So that leaves most small dead ocean fish.

Mike Bote says I should try buying my fish at the fish ports.  He said there is a Paranaque Fish Port along Coastal Road many kilometers before reaching Bacoor from Roxas Boulevard.

I visited the Paranaque Fish Port this late morning to see for myself.  It was Sunday so there was no traffic.  Not much action at that time… dead time of day.  The action is around 2am so says the fish vendors there.  I tried my luck at buying live blue crabs / alimangos and live ocean crabs / alimasag.  I did not fancy buying the fresh mussels and fresh oysters as I believe Cavite waters are polluted.

I drove farther and wound up in the Bacoor Public Market and just bought a couple of fresh big prawns but these are fish pond grown.  Still tasty.  Raw tasty.  You know me, I eat my meat raw.  This time I dipped my prawns in Ilocos Vinegar to disinfect it.

My next adventures will take me to the nearby fish ports.  I’ve heard of Malabon and Navotas fish ports.  Will have to drive up on them around 2am.  See the action for myself with my trusty cook.  After making the rounds, we can schedule these trips with my driver and the cook so they can do the marketing for us.  Let’s see.

Mike Bote treatment cures remove warts, moles, skin tags and erases tatoos

I met up with Mike Bote and his wife Eva Bote at home where they treated my mother in law and father in law for warts, moles and skin tags.  They say they’ve been doing this for some 5 years and very successful at it.

Lymph Blockage: Dorn Method and Energy Healing by Dr. Bien Castro

In my previous blog I said that my chiropractor was unavailable until the 23rd of September.  Good thing I remember having a chat with Elsie and she said her healer Dr. Bien Castro had fixed her back using his Dorn Method.  So I called Elsie and asked for Dr. Bien’s number.  I texted Dr. Bien and luckily he was available this same afternoon.  So I said yes and he drove by himself bringing his equipment all the way to Boso Boso Hotel in Antipolo.  Wow.  Dr. Bien makes house calls.

Dorn Method seems to be newer than chiropractics and its proponents claim that their techniques are an improvement over chiropractic methods.  Whereas chiropractics require sudden one time movements to set things straight, theirs use multiple repetitive movements until you get it right.  From what I hear, Dr. Bien is a master of this Dorn Method.  Then there are the rumours that Dr. Bien has been going around healing the really rich, rich, rich people.  Good thing he was still available at a price we can afford.

So Dr. Bien did his Dorn Method and got to adjust Mr. M.  Special note that was hard to adjust was D6 or is that called T6?  It points to the stomach and surrounding organs.  Which really tells us we have to do orange juice fasting as well.

The plus factor of Dr. Bien was he was into energy healing.  He had an electric magnet called a body electric something something… I forgot.  He massages Mr. M all around and in the important places like the swollen lymph and commenting how this device negatively charges those parts allowing the body to heal and clean up.

Dr. Bien also recommended a fresh supplement which reminds me of Glo Herbal / Rey Herbal, this one is called G8.  25 ml three times a day.  Dr. Bien also recommended several other things like probiotics, wheatgrass and Quantum minerals plus which we were already doing.  And he found out Mr. M was already doing 100% raw and he had made several great detoxes already.  So Dr. Bien was relieved that we were already on the same track and knew where we were headed both.  Hey, Dr. Bien and I studied in the same elementary, high school and university.  There must be some connection there.

I had discussed with him what we were doing and I said I had one missing component, that of unblocking the lymph and fixing Mr. M’s spine and I had hoped he could fill in that role.  Dr. Bien didn’t dissapoint and I was glad to have me Dr. Bien.  Another expert added to my list of experts to contact.

We see Dr. Bien again on Wednesday morning.

My hope is that finally Mr. M will be able to sleep straight for 1 night.  Mr. M’s problem is his headache which interrupts his sleep every night.  Which makes him feel tired and unhappy.  Mr. M needs his sleep and I hope in the next few days he finally gets it.

Weston Price sheds light on the malnutrition epidemic

I’m currently reading Dr. Weston A Price’s original 1939 book “Nutrition and Physical Degeneration” and he packs a lot of clear, plain english ancient wisdom to enlighten our ignorant society.  What was most useful to me is the chapter on Soil Depletion and Pland and Animal Deterioration.  Which in short says somewhat: “You can’t build something from nothing.”

Fertile soil gives the raw materials with which you build nutrient rich plants.  The nutrient rich plants feeds the grazing animals.  Humans eat the grazing animals, the vegetables and the fruits whose raw materials ultimately came from the soil.  Abuse that soil over centuries and you literally deplete it of life giving minerals which affect your vegetables, fruits and animals and in turn humans.

This is another piece of the puzzle why in my recent diet experiments I have thrived wonderfully on raw organic / wild local in season fruits and raw wild ocean fish and raw organic / fertile eggs and raw organic goat internal organs.  These are the most nutritious foods in my locale.

Goats have to be fed green grass, not feeds.  Organic eggs are the best nutrition chickens or ducks can give.  The ocean is vastly more nutritious than the depleted farm lands.  Thus ocean animals are immensely healthier and thus more life giving to us humans than land animals.  Fruits are immensely more nutritious than vegetables as fruits are painstaikingly made by the trees or the bush to be edible and those nutrients are concentrated on the fruits.  Vegetables grow too fast.

This is why the Wai Diet is great.  Get the best organic fruits and raw nuts in your locale, get the best raw ocean fish you can buy, never farmed.  Get the most nutritious part of the land animals is my addition aside from the raw egg yolks, the raw internal organs such as liver and kidneys are outstanding.

Many of todays diseases are a combination of lack of proper drainage = constipation; and lack of nutrition.

I love babies and Weston Price has made me conscious about the need to feed children immensely nutritious food all the time.  Making children needs immensely nutritious food given to the father and mother many years prior to reproduction.  Aspiring mothers especially need lots and lots of nutrition, raw materials to make babies with.  Ah the epidemic of infertility today is in a large part due to malnutrition.
