Not all is well in my paradise yet.  With the 2 fillings that popped out, I expected a cure tooth decay miracle.  Now I think instead tooth decay is progressing.  Pain tells me it is.  I was supposed to go to martial arts training today but the morning tooth decay pain made me sit it out.  I feel I may lose my right lower molar.  Ah, but you know me, I’m not giving this up without a fight.  I’ll give it all I’ve got.  I have to get oral health right if I’m gunning for longevity records.  Continue Reading

Birthday Party with Wild Boar “Piggy Power” Cooked 8 Ways

My son celebrated his 11th birthday last night with family… wherein our culture, family means extended family. And my wife has lots of siblings so we’ve got lots of nephews. And we’ve got household help and drivers, all who helped at one point in time make this birthday party with the wild boar “Piggy Power” happen. This is cooked paleo diet at its finest with a half breed wild boar we fed for 2 months in our back yard, we fed with our own leftovers. This is how we do it in the Philippines.

Piggy power the wild boar was brought in from the mountain of Tabuk. She was born, a cross breed of a truly wild boar mother and a “native pig” father. The old Ilocano natives bred this pig and raised this pig up to 3 months when my driver bought her for 3,500 pesos. Piggy power was transported in a wooden cage and via bus while she was just at an estimated 11 kilos. She arrived with a haunting wild boar squeal at 4am in our home. We took a video of her. Got 4 Dry Skin Brushes from Vander Gaditano

After a long and fruitless search among metro manila suppliers, I was just paying a courtesy visit to Vander Gaditano in Candelaria, Quezon, lo and behold, he now has a product glass stand and he has dry skin brushes! So awesome… I got 3 small circular hand sized dry skin brushes and 1 long handle dry skin brush!

I was lucky his assistant nurses were there and they taught me, demonstrated on me how to use a dry skin brush. Now I see… that is the amount of pressure required. And from there I can do it on my own.

Vander’s dry skin brushing technique is to part the body in half and brush away. In the armpits and groin, brush circular. Vander also suggests a separate skin brush for the soles of your feet.
