Guiuan, Samar Paradise Lost – Rare Vacation Pictures Some 2 weeks before Devastation via Super Typhoon Haiyan / Yolanda (October 25-30, 2013)

Maybe it was via cosmic providence that I happened to visit the remote town of Guiuan, Samar last October 25-30, 2013. Then come 4am November 8, 2013, this most powerful in recorded history making landfall Super Typhoon Haiyan / Yolanda most probably destroys this ideal paradise land I was so enchanted with. I assume immense devastation due to all communications being cut off.

The people I met in Guiuan seemed all clue less as to how powerful typhoons could be. It seems in their generation or in recent memory, no destructive typhoon seems to have ever come. It’s not like Batanes islands where their structures are made to withstand constant battering, it seems this is the first time this generation of Guiuanans will first have a taste of devastation. What worries me is if these new friends I just recently met will survive at all.Continue Reading

Aajonus Vonderplanitz just died from an accidental fall in Thailand

The Facebook group The Primal Diet by Aajonus Vonderplanitz is abuzz the past 3 hours with news of the death of one of the greatest pioneers of the raw food movement… the father of the Primal Diet… Aajonus Vonderplanitz. Emails said Aajonus’ accidental death happened when he fell from the 2nd story of his house in Thailand when it gave way. Aajonus suffered a broken spine and internal bleeding and died.

Magnesium Deficiency: The Big Elephant in the Room – big root cause of many diseases

Many signals pointing to the big issue of magnesium deficiency finally woke me up.  This magnesium deficiency issue is the big elephant in the room that I need to solve for the entire family.  This has got to be big.  Super huge.  If we solve this magnesium deficiency in stellar fashion, we win the health jackpot… maybe one of the last major nails we have to get down to.

I’ve been listening to Carolyn Dean at oneradionetwork.com and yes, very very informative.  I had my friend Jackie give me a sample of magnesium oil and I tried it but felt some being too sleepy side effects.  I thought again about the muscle cramps my children had and still continue to get at times.  I thought again about the eczema my 2nd boy still has. I thought again about my own battle with liver / gall bladder stones. Switching Back to Natural Spring Water, Natural Mineral Water for Magnesium and all the other Minerals

Seems we made the same mistake we used to make in 2002. Back in 2002 we switched to distilled water for all our water and me and my wife and 1 kid were getting sick. We switched to an authentic natural spring mineral water brand and presto we all got well. Now in 2013 with 3 kids I’m observing magnesium deficiency in our children due to the occurrence of leg cramps. Somehow along the way to health when I was into raw paleo diets and coconuts and squeezing oranges or lemons or calamansi in distilled water I had forgetten about my own wife and kids. Ah, refreshing change of shared hosting service for this website www.myhealthblog.org. I found the time to switch hosting where the database resides on one of those new SSD hard drives. SSD stands for solid state drive. Where the reputed read times are amazingly approaching that of random access memory.

Technology upgrade. This was not available in the old host. If this works out well I may move my other websites to SSD database hosting.

There will be more blogs to post. Much has progressed in the past month or so but I have been busy with work. I promise to catch up on blogging.

Kidney Cancer Patient Stable — awaiting weight gains

Our hero and kidney cancer patient uncle B is stable. Uncle B is now gaining weight and up 2.6 kg from 44 kg to 46.6 kg. Hopefully he continues gaining weight until he reaches 50 kg where I promised him I would do a 3 day vco detox with him. That vco detox should shrink his kidney tumor fast.

I keep reminding him to take his mind off of the large kidney tumor. Concentrate on health and weight gain first. We will deal with the tumor later. Uncle B is changing and evolving his diet as he goes along. I’m not there to micro manage everything, I just hope he is doing the right thing.Continue Reading
