Over lunch yesterday I was excited sharing with family that I’ll be making cayenne tincture and I’m just waiting for the new moon. Some eyes rolled and derogatory comments unloaded regarding what the new moon or any moon phase had to do with making medicines. As if I was un-scientific. Ha!
Ha ha ha and more ha! I told them that the moon has many things to do with life on earth. The moon is such a massive object orbiting the earth that it influences everything. One aspect is the moonshine on earth. The other daily thing are the tides. Hell the moon is MASSIVE ENOUGH to raise and lower the ocean water levels! Is that influential enough for you? Huh huh huh?

The instructions to make cayenne tincture says it is recommended to begin with the new moon. Of course you can make cayenne tincture in any moon phase. It just doesn’t isn’t as powerful as done during the recommended moon phase. I’m in no hurry so I’m waiting for the new moon on october 11.
