I’m still recovering from my right arm sprain. Today I’m already comfortable typing with my right hand. But I’m still using my left hand for my mouse.
We are just finishing up a 4 day holiday due to all saints day. Yesterday Saturday I bought a lot of organic Philippine oranges, large, ponkan from Mountain Province. On the way back in the supermarket I got a pack of 8 small sunkist oranges, the american florida variety. Last night Saturday I suddenly had the urge to do an orange juice fast, my very first one!
This morning Sunday I opened barefoot’s PDF files and his videos regarding his orange juice fast method. Sounded real easy this time. Plus as much of 1 kind of fruit in the evening huh? And just make sure bowel movement is regular.
Thought I’d mix in my papaya and the 12 seeds for a parasite cleanse experiment to boot.
I drank Doctor Tam’s Miracle Tea around 9:30 am for my bowel movement / colon cleanse. Then at 10 am I drank 2 cups of orange juice. Freshly squeezed by my automatic juicer, a maid. Remember my sprained arm? We have a manual juicer + a maid. Works a little different than Barefoot’s video though.
In the afternoon, my brother and I did some obligations, bought a few things for him, and also some groceries including 20 new oranges at the market. This time these cost P 15 each. Then around 3pm another maid juiced my next 2 cups of orange juice.
My first impression of the first day of orange juice fasting so far? 2 cups of orange juice is heavy. Plus I didn’t get hungry or thirsty from 10am to 3pm. I plan to eat my papaya and seeds later. Then maybe some orange juice. Then before I go to sleep 1/2 cup of Dr. Tam’s Miracle Tea so I’m sure to poop in the morning when I wake up. Ready for work Monday morning!
I think this will be a 3 day orange juice fast. Who knows? I’ll play it by ear.
