Is raw paleolithic diet better than cooked paleolithic diet?

Question: I heard that going raw on Paleo is even healthier. I would never be able to follow that diet, but is that statement true?

My Answer: I get better results with raw paleo for myself.

My diet trajectory was:
- SAD
- raw vegan (2 months) – not enough, getting too skinny
- raw fruitarian (2 months) – not enough, cold, getting too skinny
- raw paleo, wai diet – raw fruits + raw egg yolks + raw ocean animals (January 1, 2008)
- raw paleo diet – raw fruits, raw vegs, raw animals (ocean + land) (March 1, 2008)
- cooked meat paleo diet – felt awful compared to raw paleo diet (May 1 to May 30, 2008)
- raw paleo diet , high raw fat, low carb (June 2008 to today Feb 2009)

I was always focusing on raw because I was recovering from what the MD’s said was an incurable eczema… which I cured spectacularly… my story is here… http://www.eczemacure.info

Maybe since my focus was always on curing diseases, all the gurus I read always recommend raw: the raw vegans, the raw fruitarians, Aajonus Vonderplanitz, Henry Bieler, and it was only with raw that I was getting best results. It must be my sickly background and as well has helping the more sickly like the cancer stricken where all teachers I stumble on say if your disease is truly terrible 100% raw is the way…

I do eat some cooked animal food for socials but I know it is less than ideal than raw, but I can take it nowadays because I’m now healthier than I’ve ever been in the past 20 years.

I think cooking introduces pollutants to the food as well as it transforms the fats and the protein. So when I cook my meat, I make stock broths (4 hours+) or pan fry in ghee (clarified butter) quickly. I have children to raise and feed so I need to learn clean paleo cooking for them.

There are times my kids get to eat raw animal food like: raw fish sashimi, raw liver, raw bone marrow – taken with soup, raw squid.

But this is just me.
