Nov 12-17 Club Filipino: 8th Annual Philippine College for the Advancement in Medicine Convention

Come to the 8th annual convention on the Power of Natural Healing of the Philippine College for the Advancement in Medicine (PCAM) at Club Filipino in Green Hills, San Juan on November 9-17, 2009. Attached is the program schedule for the 3-day plenary sessions of lectures on November 9-11, and the daily workshops that follow November 12-17.
There will be top-flight speakers from the United States, including a past president of ACAM, the American College for the Advancement in Medicine, PCAM’s U.S. counterpart, and from Germany, Taiwan, and natural healing experts from the Philippines. There will be product exhibits as well of foods and food supplements that do not have the side effects of pharmaceutical drugs.
PCAM is a professional association composed of doctors and lay people interested in alternative medicine. PCAM holds monthly seminars and annual conventions open to the public to spread the good news of natural healing. All this is to promote the objectives and purposes of Republic Act No. 8423, known as the Traditional and Alternative Medicine Act of 1997, which states that it is the policy of the State to accelerate the development of traditional and alternative health care and to integrate it into the national health care delivery system.

So, for non-PCAM members, the registration fee for the 3-days of lectures on November 9-11 drops from P3,000 to P1,800, and for PCAM members to P1,500, and for the daily workshops on November 12-17 from P1,000 per day to P600 for non-members and P500 for members, and that already includes the lunch that will be served.
