My 8 year old boy suggested he do a 3 day orange juice fast. So I’m doing the orange juice fast with him. My wife joined us too.
This morning I went with a maid to Kalayaan street to buy 40 sunkist oranges at 10 pesos per piece.
We had an orange juicer in the house. We used some sports drink containers to put our squeezed and filtered orange juice in. My son as 250 ml allocation, my wife and I have a 500 ml allocation. We just add some orange juice in a glass and add a lot of filtered water.
Remember that this is a fast, not a feast.
*** UPDATE ***
Last night after seeing everybody eat dinner he said, he wanted his fast shortened to 2 days.
Then after running around and expending a lot of energy with his cousins he then said he would like to shorten his fast to just 1 day.
So this morning my son broke his fast by eating whole oranges.
