Petron Oil Spill in Rosario Cavite Caused by Broken Undersea Pipeline

Heard this on the news while driving home: Petron Oil Spill in Rosario Cavite Caused by Broken Undersea Pipeline. Really bad stuff from what I heard. The media crew was interviewing 2 divers who are assigned to find and fix the leak, they said it was pitch dark in the water due to the spill, it was hard for them to see where the leak was coming out from to know what to do. But officials say the oil spill is contained somehow and then will eventually be cleaned up.

There was some concern about the nearby choral reefs but officials said the oil is contained. Let’s wait and see what happens next.

Which just goes to show that oil spills happen in our country too. Oil spills happen big and small. As long as we are beholden to using oil based technologies to power our everyday lives, there will be no escaping these environmental catastrophes which all come back to us as well.

Of course I yearn for the years in the future when we can have a system of money not based on oil so oil is no longer the currency anchor. I dream where we can have Atlantis legend free energy like Nicola Tesla dreamed and experimented. No more pollution. Power for everyone.

Until then, we will just have to endure polluting incidents such as these.
