Ah to be young and easily make the wrong choices. This is so inane and reeks of fast commercialization instead of long term health. Charice got botox “to look fresh on camera”? Duuuhhhh, don’t you get that easily with adequate sleep?
Then there is the thing about Charice’s face growing wider because of her chewing gum habit. So she was recommended botox. Geez, didn’t anyone advice Charice to just give up her chewing gum habit?
Then her PR manager says Charice had botox not for cosmetic purposes but for TMJ pain. Gosh, my biological dentists never once had a pamphlet that said let’s do botox for your TMJ pain.
Everything is plain to see in the eagle eyes of true health advocates.
So let’s just wish the young Charice all well in her career. Happy shooting with the Glee cast! May your star shine brighter! And get some real health education so you can make better choices in the future.

REALLY?! botox at her young age? really WTF. . . well as a singer and a future actress at the same time they really do everything to be beautiful. Many people is looking up to you so that’s why you have to do something about your physical looks and charice I think is not lucky to have good features right?lol Anyways the other part is she’s the next big superstar and that’s the most important thing. She finally reach her dreams. . . Kudos charice, make us proud!!
I hope the side effects of botox will not damage her vocal prowess. Yes, this is really an inane and INSANE decision. Very tragic.
yes it does..

dont be too judgmental sweetie… maybe one day youll need botox for a tmj
This is exactly what the world does to young talent… they get promoted way too fast, get idolized way too fast… We put them on a pedestal and worship them… it gets to their heads, messes them up and turns them into very unhappy human beings. All because 90% of the world are losers who need someone to idolize… Like God isn’t enough for them. she’s in great danger of becoming another guest on “Behind the Music” on VH1
You guys are all retarded and ignorant. TMJ pain is like being trapped in hell, and you are all lucky you’ve never experienced it. And yes, studies have shown Botox CAN help with TMJ pain along with migraine pain. I’ve had migraines and TMJ since I was 4, and so I tried botox at an age of 12. Nope, didn’t work, but it worked for some people. Do you really think teens like myself back then and Charice would get botox? As if our skin isn’t flawless and smooth naturally?
Singing can also exacerbate TMJ condition, and it is very very understandable that the legit reason for botox was for TMJ, not for beauty. GOD people.
Yes, your reply is the TMJ promoter’s classic reply. It’s TMJ business. Suddenly, everyone is diagnosed with TMJ.
