We have a new nannie named Ana Lee and my wife tipped me off that she’s had this cough and slight phlegm for about a month now. Oh, time to get back in active service of helping people. I methodically outlined the relief and things to do.
Relief for itchy throat that causes cough: Eat some raw white onion, just enough for relief.
Diagnosis of the root cause of the problem of painful sore throat and cough but not much phlegm: Hmmm… that combination shows it’s not a detox. That combination is more of an infection. Asked if she used cotton buds to clean her ears. Yes. Suspect stuck up compacted ear wax and dirt causing a minor infection in the canals leading to the throat. Suspect teeth for tooth decay.
Proceed to cleaning the ear canals. Put drops of extra virgin olive oil in both ears, let it stay overnight. We used the best extra virgin olive oil we have currently which is Braggs centenial olive oil… it’s new, it tastes good, it is not rancid. The olive oil is meant to soften the stuck up ear wax in the canals.
In the morning, mix 50% store bought hydrogen peroxide with 50% by volume of clean filtered drinking water. Get a dropper or a small tea spoon and fill in ears one at a time. A pleaseant ticklish experience in the ears will be felt. It will take around 5 minutes to finish each ear. Repeat the same hydrogen peroxide plus water in the evening.
Next morning, Ana Lee’s sore throat and cough had gone away! Hooray. But was it a success? Not yet. The next morning she complained about tooth ache overnight. Ha, and she didn’t tell me. She didn’t know I had remedies for many things.
Tooth ache first aid treatment: Clove oil. Get cotton buds, dip in clove oil. Apply on all sides of the tooth in distress, pain. In 2 minutes the pain had subsided. In a few more minutes the pain had gone. The final solution since I saw the molar was horribly decayed and bleeding was to go to the dentist and have that decayed molar extracted.
So 1 month of suffering. And it took me 2 days of teaching self treatment with easy to acquire materials. You can do this too. No one has to suffer for extended periods of time.
One of my employees called up yesterday sick, fever and ear ache… must have the same thing, might need the same treatment.
