Nebulizer Treatments for Asthma vs the Beach and Salty Sea Air

My wife and son are doing nebulizer treatments for asthma. We all got mucus and phlegm and coughs but the 2 of them were the worst hit. They were both down and out and could not go to work or school. My 2nd boy missed only one day and our girl missed only one day. I gave them Valda pastilles to sooth their throats so they could expel their phlegm forcefully without pain.

Why does it seem to be such a waste that my wife buys tens of disposable nebulizer sets? Why does that hose and mouthpiece have to be disposable? Why not just buy 2 sets? One for my wife and one for my boy. Seems germ theory has a role to play in making these items sell more.

Found out there is even a market for individual plastic saline solutions. Saline equals salt + water. In individual disposable, sealed bottles. Another profit product. Why can’t I just use good old sea salt and mix it with filtered water?

So my wife says this is effective. I’m now thinking how much better off she and my son would be if I took them out to the beach and stayed overnight? Nebulizer Treatments for Asthma vs taking time off to go to the beach. I’ve pushed the beach idea so many times but she likes her nebulizer.

So about the chickens. Some police paid a visit to the neighbors with the fighting cocks. So far it seems they have removed SOME of the chickens, but not all of them.

We are back in the house, but this time with the windows closed and we turn on the air conditioner to filter the air. More expense for us.

I should be more vigorous next time with the beach idea… throw in some fishing. But I’m still glad nebulizer treatments for asthma are around… good thing for emergencies. You don’t need to stuff drugs or steroids in it. Sea salt will do.
