Fuzzy Blood Pressure Monitor for the Home

Some complaints of sleeplessness and tiredness at home.  Not me.  But they need monitoring for blood pressure.  You never know.  So I decided to buy a blood pressure monitor.  Turns out the old mercury blood pressure readers are not available anymore, banned they say… for mercury… duh, they put all the mercury in the energy saver light bulbs nowadays.

So I had no choice but to choose from electronic automatic blood pressure monitors.  I chose the “fuzzy” one.  fuzzy automatic blood pressure monitor.  Model MD-650 by Meditec.  Made in Korea.  It’s CE 0197.  It’s one touch, too easy.  “Fuzzy” seems to mean it guesses what your blood pressure is at so it adjusts the maximum pressure it delivers before starting to go down.

I used to take the blood pressures of my grandparents with the manual mercury device, this electronic stuff sure is easy.  And it seems pretty accurate.  It shows what I’ve had all the time.  Normal. 110+ over 70+ and as I guessed, my in laws’ driver has high blood pressure.  Man, that guy better watch it.

This thing is neat.  Blood pressure and pulse beats per minute in one take.

It seems such a simple, standard appliance nowadays.  No reason you shouldn’t have one at home yourself.  Buy one soon.
