Our discovery road trip last Saturday to find a swimming hole yielded a precious gem of a find: Off Grid Cabins, Restaurant, Tent Camping, Waterfalls resort of sorts called Jariel’s Peak at Km 94 on the Marikina-Infanta Road in the area called Little Baguio, Brgy Magsaysay, Infanta, Quezon. The restaurant front is a favourite of motor bike groups who frequent this road on weekends and holidays. My dirty electricity solution to the wifi problem is to buy a wired only DSL router D-Link DIR-100 4-port router. 1 port goes to my desktop. 1 port goes to someone who needs it for a laptop. 1 port goes to the wifi router in the small house. 1 port goes to the wifi router in the big house on the 2nd floor. Our little house we lovingly call the cabana was flooded well above the roof with mud in 2009. In early 2012, we tore down the ceiling and found 8 sacks of fine soil / old mud. Then again this 2012 waist high flood, new stink. We’ve gotten sick with indoor pollution many times since 2009. After the 2012 flood the family had totally abandoned sleeping in the cabana.
