Raw Vegan Fruitarian for 1 month now

The 2 week orange juice fast successfully took me to raw eating. I’ve been 100% raw vegan fruitarian for 1 month now. I feel good, I feel strong. Though I’m still slimming down. My wife says I look like a POW, prisoner of war.

My fruitarian readings tell me this is part of the detox process. I’m observing.

My current drawback is I feel cold, is this part of detox too? I mean I live in Manila, Philippines a tropical country. And December 2007 temperatures have gone down only to some 19 to 22 degrees Celsius / 66 to 72 degrees Fahrenheit. Hey, you hardy non tropical folk think that is normal temperature. I’m trying to alleviate this by trying to get more sunlight. But lately it’s been cloudy and with the typhoons passing by. But today it is sunny and I got some good 15 minutes of bare sunshine.

My question is on feeling cold. I’ve read raw vegan guru David Wolfe say winter is hard on him too. Your thoughts on my feeling cold?

Dried Cayenne Powder Cures 3/4″ thumb wound in 1 day

Our maid Arlene was washing the dishes and she accidentally cut herself on the coconut axe. An ugly cut 3/4 inches wide all across her thumb, deep and jagged. Arlene thought she heard her bone being cut.

Lucky for her I was beside her. And in the kitchen cupboard were my left over bags of dried cayenne powder. In 1 minute I was there to slap a good amount of dried cayenne powder on her bleeding left thumb. And in the next minute another maid wrapped a hankerchief on the bleeding left thumb now covered with cayenne powder.

Arlene felt the deep hot cayenne embedded in her flesh. It was hot for a few minutes then it felt fine. This morning her harnkerchief bandage was off. Her thumb had totally healed! Outstanding, just 1 day! And no scar!

Lesson learned. Keep cayenne powder handy in your first aid kit.

For a few days now I had been badgering Bugoy to learn and do the orange juice fast. He just got well from a terrible crisis but his psoriasis / eczema remains. He again proceeds to abuse himself by accepting a job offer in the heart of the big business city to relocate apartments in 2 weeks! And I thought we had 2 more months of concentrated healing to do.

Appendicitis, My Friend, Colon Cleanse and Barefoot Herbalist MH

A friend of mine was recently in the hospital diagnosed with appendicites. I begged him on the telephone to let me drive to his hospital 2 hours away so I can give him some fast acting colon cleanse herbal (Dr. Tam’s Miracle tea). Yet his dad, his mom and his doctor conspired so I couldn’t get through to him. He’s young, only 24. He said things moved so fast the MD booked him for an operation that evening and his parents agreed. I pleaded I rush to him and give him 1/2 cup of the tea and by operation time he will have pooped his problem away. But they cut off his cell phone and they wouldn’t even give me his hospital and room number.

3rd Day of My 1st Orange Juice Fast

This is an energetic 3rd day! I began my fast with 1 squeezed orange juice with water in a glass. Then the Dr. Tam’s Miracle tea for my colon cleanse. Then around 8:30 am I drank 2 full cups of freshly squeezed orange juice.

Around 11 pm I was thirsty and got fresh coconut juice / water.

Around 12:30 I had 2 cups again of freshly squeezed orange juice.

Around 5pm I decided on 1 orange and water.

Then around 7pm I had my fresh ripe papaya fruit plus some 20 or so seeds for my parasite cleanse.

My grandmother arrived with fresh turmeric and pounded it for my brother, I thought that I might as well have some freshly pounded turmeric tea!

I feel so good and I can feel more improvements coming, I might as well extend this orange juice fast so I bought more oranges for 2 more days.

Who knows? I may like this so much I can extend to who knows how long? I wish.

2nd Day of My Orange Juice fast

This morning around 7:00 am I drank 1/3 cup of Dr. Tam’s Miracle Tea for my colon cleanse.

Around 8 am I drank 2 cups of freshly squeezed orange juice.

Around 10:30 am I felt thirsty so I got a large buko / young coconut with lots of coconut juice for my distilled water.  Yes it is distilled, distilled by nature, distilled by the coconut tree.

Then at 12:30 I drank another 2 cups of freshly squeezed orange juice.

Around 2pm I made errands with my little boy at the nearby small shopping mall for some office equipment, some oranges, lifted some heavy weights there with my left arm.  My right arm is still recovering from a sprain.

Around 4pm I felt some “crashing” or was it lack of water, so I drank another coconut.

Around 6pm I decided to use the latundan variety of bananas for dinner.  Around 4 pieces.

Then to wash it all down around 7:15pm I squeezed 1 orange and added reverse osmosis water in 2 glasses.

This tip is a blanket tip for my friends and relatives in the USA.  I’ll also try this eventually, it takes time for these pills to ship over to us.  Here in the Philippines we have Dr. Tam’s Miracle Tea.  Or whatever they have at healthy options.
